I’m writing to share concerns I’ve observed during multiple recent morning visits. I’ve started attending in the mornings more often since my preferred shift lead, who previously worked nights, is no longer scheduled during that time.

During these morning visits, I’ve noticed a change in customer service when Emily is working. In the past, Emily was attentive and engaged with customers, but recently there has been a noticeable decline in professionalism and overall service quality.

From the customer line, I’ve repeatedly observed Emily whispering to fellow coworkers, pointing toward other employees, and then laughing or snickering. I’ve also seen her roll her eyes behind coworkers’ backs when they turn away or when they ask for assistance. These behaviors are visible to customers and create an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Additionally, interactions between Emily and certain staff members appear noticeably different than with others, which affects teamwork and slows down service. As a customer, it’s concerning to witness conduct like this, especially when it impacts morale, workflow, and the overall customer experience.

I hope management is able to address these concerns to ensure a respectful, professional environment for both staff and customers.

Ordering catering….buyer beware! Delivery guy added a “1” in front of my tip and changed total to add on an additional $100. Was caught by by shift lead and manager (THANK GOD) and they confirmed if that was accurate and I said “no”! Called manager the next day and was shocked that no attempt was made to apologize and was told they were going to have a conversation with him to see what his story was?! To this day, no further communication on an employee stealing from their clients.

Moe’s is doing its best Chipotle impression and barely putting any protein in their tacos. Prices have increased, portion sizes have shrunk.

We went here tonight for a team fundraising event. We ordered online for to go but they failed on that.

1. The food – the bowls were as empty as could be. Almost no rice, I ordered double chicken and it was nonexistent. It tasted ok but they didn’t want to give much. There was almost more sauce than there was other food.

2. The service – the flyer said 10% goes to the organization on to go orders. My wife called after ordering to make sure they knew it was for the organization and they said they would t honor it for online orders.

3. The price – for $40 plus dollars for 3 meals you’d expect a lot more.

I remembered why we stopped going here. We’ll stick with chipolte

Sadly, Moe’s has gone downhill. I wouldn’t waste my time or money here. Steak tacos use to be a great quick grab for busy nights but not anymore. The steak is unrecognizable and flavorless. $13 for a bowl and you may get 2 tablespoons of flavorless meat….I dont think so!

Went there to get my birthday reward but it wasn’t showing on my app neither I got an email this year. Cashier Emily said well it’s not in the system and asked if I’ve used it already.. I said no? Had I done that whydyi be asking for it again? and I told her get the reward every year since I’m a member. Their rice was super dry and chairs outside are terribly old and filthy.

UPDATE: After posting this review and filling out the online Moe’s survey, I received a call from the one of the owners, the COO, Steve. I was pleasantly surprised to find this company cares about it’s customers’ satisfaction and loyalty. It’s refreshing to find a company that does more than pay lip service to the concept of customer service.

I want to be clear in my review that my complaint is not with the overall quality of the food here. It is good food. And no complaint about Moe’s in general (in fact this is my favorite Florida Moe’s, I travel all over Florida and have tried many locations).

Also I would like to single out Emily, Joe and Ken as excellent employees. They’ve been with the company a long time and I have had nothing but great service from all of them.

The food in this location has always been excellent, fresh and tasty. The salsa has always been excellent. I love the new guac salsa.
My complaint is that the portion sizes for my “go to” meal changed drastically (got smaller) and I no longer could justify the cost vs value.

Back to my complaint: Steve explained the change I experienced (horrible portion size) was a corporate decision and ONLY made to the tacos (go figure!). Steve urged me to try other menu items that have not been monkeyed with by corporate and report my experience back to him.

Since I love this location as one of my “go-to” lunch destinations, I was very disappointed to have to write off the tacos– but I will go back and try other menu items.

I have amended the review to 4 starts to reflect the problem is only with one menu item (can’t justify higher until corporate changes it back).

$14 for four half-empty grilled chicken tacos?
I don’t think so.
I used to love this Moe’s— I would eat lunch here at least once per week, sometimes 2-3 time per week. But they have apparently cut their portion size in half and kept the price the same. You should not be half full after paying $14 for lunch. Tacos with a tablespoon portion of chicken per taco…really?
I get far better value for my money at Chipotle or Pollo Tropical.
This is the second time in a row this happened, I should have know better than to try agiam after the first time, but I thought give it one more chance.
Never again Moe’s, I’m done!

The good news is that the good is tasty and can be customized to most tastes AND they’ve introduced me options like Taco kits for fun home experiences 🙂 The not-so-good news is that such personalization takes time if you’re in line for eating in. My suggestion if taking away is to take the time to order online and save yourself some time inline.

It was amazing. Haven’t been in one in a long time and was amazed at the selection. I am legally blind. And because the menu board was black with big white writing, I was able to see on my own without help. That made me feel so good about myself. Thank you Moe’s, for giving a gal her independence back doing something as simple as ordering her meal.
