My husband had chicken fried steak and he said that it was tender, not greasy, and the gravy tasted like my homemade gravy. I had the tuna melt. The sourdough bread had good flavor and was perfectly toasted. I would have preferred way less mayo with the tuna, but that could be a personal preference. Our server was so sweet and checked on us several times even though they were busy. Every staff member I saw had a smile on their face. That is unusual these days. We will go back. The breakfast menu looks enticing.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon and I will say, I would not recommend coming here if you are young and Hispanic. Today was not a great experience here. When we first arrived we werent sure where to go to be seated. We then were TOLD to go to the table in the back, not even walked to our table like at a typical restaurant. We then were greeted by our server, Carol G, who proceeded to take our order and we were never attended after that. Another server brought out our food, Carol stopped by right then and asked if we needed anything, and left. We then noticed that a large family was seated in the room behind us and that our server was seated with them. She herself brought our all their food, drinks, and catered to them and the surrounding tables but not once stopped to ask us anything. She walked back and fourth a good ten times and didn’t even look at us. We wanted to order a cinnamon roll and couldn’t even do that because she was too busy attending the family behind us. I really was hoping this would be a good experience as we were looking for a new breakfast spot but we won’t be coming back here. Horrible service from Carol G.

Debated heavily on writing this. My server was very slow. She continuously spoke of her family member being shot and I witnessed her crying to other tables about needing money due to her being behind on bills. I found that extremely unprofessional. The food and other employees were fantastic though.

This was our second visit to Moe’s. The first time was for breakfast, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Being native Texans, we had a craving for Chicken Fried Steak, so we decided to check out Moe’s again. It was on special, so it was only $5.99 for CFS and two sides! That’s a heck of a deal! It’s a good sized steak too! Much bigger than the toddler sized CFS at Ginger Brown’s! It was delicious! The crust was crispy and not over seasoned. The mashed potatoes are homemade. The service is very friendly as well! We’ll definitely be back!
