First things first, I have to give credit where it is due. The pizza was great. The crust was delicious and crispy, and the toppings were fantastic. Now the rest of the story can the staff please come from behind the counter and clean up the area? Can you please train your staff that if someone asked a question it’s not an inconvenience to them they’re there for questions because as a customer, I don’t know. You need a new staff working on Saturday night, my visit was very substandard. I felt more like an inconvenience than a customer.

Wow we are so impressed! This was our first time visiting and let me tell you it was amazing. They are for sure dog friendly, on the patio of course. They even offered our dogs bowls for water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They all were knowledgeable about the menu and food items. The build your own buffet style without an extra charge is fabulous! The great choice of fresh ingredients and stone fire oven, ummm YES PLEASE! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely horrible. How this place still has a 4.4 rating, I have no idea. Every single employee was in the back and saw us and still didn’t come out for 3 minutes. Then when they finally came out, they were choosing a song to listen to while they took our order.. instead of taking our order. Then 2 women walk in behind us and the other girl starts working on their order instead of my entire family. The girl making our pizza had an airpod in their ear and her stomach hanging out of her blue shirt. Nobody looks like they have a uniform or any kind of rules on anything that they follow. Clearly the owners don’t care about anything.

At one time, was our go-to for pizza. Over the last few months there has been a steady decline. The staff behind the counter have zero service industry manners. Stingy with ingredients. Unprofessional in the manner in which they deal with customers…. Actually pretty rude. Unclean. And complaining about doing their jobs.
We miss the old staff. They appeared to enjoy their jobs. They were welcoming, had personality, and made our pizzas exactly as we were asking with a smile and grace, and kept their work stations clean and tidy. The new staff blah. We will try out Blaze pizza next time. GET THE OLD STAFF BACK!!!! My teen age daughter was fuming and down right ticked off that her favorite pizza place is ruined. And the two guys wearing their street clothes to work in a kitchen. So unprofessional. Get a uniform… even if you are management, dress professionally. Basic food safety course would be a good addition to the training.

We’ve always loved MOD Pizza in Mobile—the atmosphere is great, the pizza is usually delicious, and it’s been one of our go-to spots. However, our last three visits haven’t been the best. The soda machine was either not working or the drinks were flat each time, and the restaurant seemed very understaffed, which affected the overall experience and service.
We really want to keep coming back because we know how good this place can be, but we’re hoping these issues get addressed soon.

I’m here now. Actually have been for a very long time. I shouldn’t left long ago, but I’m committed to seeing this through now. One of the strangest food experiences I’ve had. We have eaten here many times before, but I’ll admit it’s been a while. The entire staff is incredibly high at the moment. Placing the order was a full on, very long adventure. The pizza actually looks pretty good. Just come patient.

MOD Pizza hosted our nonprofit fundraiser in September 2025, but we never received the proceeds that were earned from the event. Additionally, during the fundraiser, staff frequently rang up customers without applying our fundraiser code, even when supporters mentioned they were there to support the nonprofit.
This was disappointing, as our organization relied on the fundraiser being handled correctly and transparently. We followed the required steps on our end and expected the same level of follow-through from MOD Pizza. I hope this issue is addressed so other nonprofits do not have a similar experience.

Usually have a positive interaction at MOD new staff is HORRIBLE not friendly at all this is not the MOD that first opened the owners really need to check it out! There was one girl there VERY VERY RUDE! they were more focused on when they were to get off than customers!
