I’ve been to the restaurant once before with my husband, and we liked it. I live in Boonville and I hardly come to Mocksville. I had to come here today for work and I decided to stop in again. I’m not famous by no means, but I do TikTok reviews of local restaurants. Well, I photograph the outside, I go inside and I’m instantly greeted by one of the three ladies at the checkout desk. I’m seated at one of the booths up front around 2:10 today. I had to wipe off my seat as food was on the booth seat, it was fine. The floor was really dirty (food and napkins), under the table where they sat me, it was still fine, I didn’t care at the time. I seen a guy sitting and waiting on his second to go order. He was clearly frustrated with his wait and voiced it. I decided what drink I wanted as well as my food but no one ever came to take my order. I remember thinking it wasn’t busy at all and wondered what was taking so long. I seen a waitress walk past me several times and she even cleaned off a table. No one said, “I’ll be right with you, nothing. I remember timing it 8 more minutes after I decided what I wanted. I felt like they didn’t care if I was there or not. I folded the menu, laid it on the checkout desk, no one even said anything to me then, then I walked out. Decided to go to La Carreta up the street instead, who has great food and service. I would give you guys another chance, not sure when though. Highly disappointed.

This is such a great place! We showed up unanticipated with a group of 30 college students coming back from a retreat. They were quick to accommodate us and served us with patience and friendliness. The food was delicious! I got the Mediterranean wrap and fries. Their menu is huge with tons of variety. Definitely would return here and recommend to anyone!

really impressed with the atmosphere, soft music and great staff that took care of us. I had been wanting to try the restaurant for some time. but it had been several different restaurants so I didn’t know the quality or lasting power this would have… well IMO this will stay around for a long while!
Wife had the baby flounder and I had the 10oz hamburger steak. both were delicious and really nicely cooked.

Had my boyfriend leave work and pick up a plate for me as I am home sick. I ordered the steak and brown gravy and expected it to be dredged in gravy and soft to eat as most places make it.. not some chewy piece of beef with only enough gravy to end up soaking into half of the outer coating. His was the same way and he said his collard greens were inedible. So close to $30 wasted on 2 meals that were worthy of nothing more than a trash can.

Our first time! Bright and welcoming, with friendly, smiling folks. We had an awesome server and a delicious breakfast! Lots of options on the menu. Ooooooh and fresh cake slices too!! Looking forward to trying lunch and dinner now also.

Customer service was great. Flounder tasted weird or off and catfish was burnt tasting shrimp and good had no seasoning but fries and hush puppies were great. Sweet potato casserole was not tasty tasted like a baked potato with lemon in it so if you like southern tasting food this is a no no

The atmosphere was nice and cozy. It was my first time dining and Yulie did a great job. I ordered a dairy free meal and she ensured that it was exactly that. She was very friendly, polite, and showed all the attributes of excellent customer service. The meal was fantastic. I would share a pic but there was nothing left to show .

As a man who absoulutely loves food and restaurants that have all kinds of it. This place was something special. As soon as I walked in the doors I was greeted by multiple waitresses who kindly lead me to my booth, I then ordered some pot roast and it was delicious. The Oreo cheesecake however was other worldly. It was so so good.
