We’ve had the misfortune of dining here multiple times, and unfortunately, the food is vastly overpriced. Not only is the quality subpar, but the fish fry was also a letdown, with no fresh food being brought out during our visit. To make matters worse, the fish selection was underwhelming, considering the hefty price tag. The breakfast buffet fares no better, offering a lackluster spread for the price. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. The waiter is very attentive and does a great job.

This is a buffet that we attended after church in Sunday. With made to order omlets, and a full buffet to choose from there is something for everyone.
The wait staff is fast and attentive throughout the whole time we were there.

Went to have breakfast this morning to discover it was buffet for $16.99 a person. With the current exchange rate, that is over 25 dollars a plate. My husband complained about the price and said for a retirement resort it was pretty pricey. They only charged for one plate but I didn’t eat. Hubby said omelette was very good and hot as it was made to order. The buffet food was cold and not good at all. There were only 5 people eating which included us.

First timers staying at the resort, we are ThousandTrails members. Not the greatest atmosphere, when you walk in you think…Catered Food?? Am i at a convention? But to our surprise the food was not bad. We had the Lasagna the first time and it was good. Went back a second time and the Burger and fries were great must be half pound. The wife had the hot roast beef sandwich and it was also great. Had a second meal at the rig with both, servings are big!! Did not visit for breakfast. Little slow on getting food out..but worth the wait!! The salad bar is only 6 foot long..don’t expect much. More like a fruit bar. They should rethink this, needs more variety.

We love staying at the resort! We always stay in the back.
But this restaurant is awful! 2 years ago we were here for the winter, loved it so came back.
Tried the restaurant for the second time, and it’s just as bad.
Biscuits are hard and cold. Eggs, cold. Fried potatoes, cold. Pancakes, stuck to pan cold. Bacon, greasy and cold. Sausage cold. $17.99/ person is stupid high for cold food, let alone trying to cater to the older people on a fixed income in the resort.
The chef sat down at a table and started talking, saying they used to make 400 omelets on Sundays…now maybe 120! It might be his fault? ♀️And maybe he shouldn’t be telling people that? Same manager from 2 years ago, same chef making omelets, which I didn’t know was available… only Belgian waffles. Might be management?
Waitress could only say, everything ok? But not notice water is empty. ♀️
They tried to warm the food up when you should really just start the hell over and make fresh.
Never again! Coffee was the only hot thing available. Don’t even try it. It’s not worth any price, cold or not, it’s bland, greasy, old, and outdated place that shouldn’t even try.
Oh, but I was offered an omelet, after the fact. I wasn’t hungry then. I was over it.

Friday night fish buffet was good. Blackened catfish was the best and beer battered cod was good too! Other choices of fish also available but not my thing. Gravy for the mashed potatoes was really salty. Sunday breakfast buffet is also very good.

We went for the Sunday breakfast buffet at $17.99 per person. Quality of food is not reflective of the price. Cooked to order Omelets were overcooked to brown eggs. Biscuits are so hard you can’t eat them and hash browns were soggy.

In a hotel where the cost is low, and stays grow long,
Where maintenance shines, nothing’s amiss or wrong.
Employees dash, with smiles they greet,
Ensuring every guest feels upbeat.
But oh, the breakfast, a tale of woe,
A culinary disaster, a morning’s foe.
Avoid at all costs, heed my advice,
For everything else might be nice, but breakfast pays the price.

The Friday nite fish fry was great
Food hot and plenty of it. Many people there and not too long wait at 6:00. Will go back. Price was great for all you could eat. 8.95.
