This place is great. We came close to closing so it wasn’t too busy. It’s more of a pick up your food and eat it while you’re heading home. The half & half potato and cheese was great with the sprinkle of sugar and very crunchy. The hot Cheetos one was good but lacked the crunch. The mochi donuts were amazing. The texture is something else.

I blame TikTok… the only reason I had any kind of interest in going to this place is cause the scam-fluencers claimed it was a “Must try when in Orlando”. Don’t listen to them, you can definitely skip this spot. The traffic on the street to get to this location is nuts. The parking is trash, good luck finding a spot. They were sold of most of their donuts.

Atmosphere was cute. Not enough tables to enjoy treats. There’s more cheese than hotdog when you order the half and half. The website shows flavors the store doesn’t have, and once they run out they don’t have more.

I didn’t know what to expect. Is it a doughnut or some sort of cake pastry. Well it’s neither! It’s Mochinut a hybrid of a cake doughnut. One that is sharable. You can break it off into pieces. I would buy a dozen and share them with Family and friends. The flavors are amazing and the texture chew but in a good way.

On this visit to mochinut I tried the elote corn original rice hot dog, it’s a combination of a corndog and Mexican street corn. Though the picture may not look very appetizing, it’s definitely worth trying. I enjoyed the unique blending of flavors. However, I have to say that the potato corn dog is still my favorite. The only reason I couldn’t give a five star review was because as we sat on the bench inside the restaurant waiting for our food there lying in the corner belly up, but still twitching, was that six legged creature no one wants to see inside of a restaurant.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service and the quality of the mochi donuts at this location. It was about 1 pm and they had already run out of 3 types of the 6 donuts they had featured that day and the counter staff said that they were not making anymore despite being open for another 7 hours. I HIGHLY recommend the Kissimmee location, where I have already has great experiences, but I was in the area of this specific store. The Orlando location is around the corner of a busy shopping center and parking is awkward and very limited. The Kissimmee location is worth the drive out for overall atmosphere, service, and menu options. The donuts I did have were great, hence the 3-star review.
