The sushi is excellent! Have dined here a couple times and the Thai, Chinese, and hibachi dishes were great too! There was even a kid doing his homework so you know it hits!

We came here for some Chinese takeout. We knew this restaurant is operated by the same people who own the Asian grocery next door and we had always wanted to try it out. We see that this is more than a Chinese place . It has Thai, Japanese and Chinese food and it’s honestly the nicest looking Chinese eatery we have around here. We ordered Ginger Pepper Steak with fried rice and came with egg drop soup (or salad). The portion is generous and the beef is one of the most tender and juicy beef we had in an Asian eatery. The ginger adds a twist to the usual pepper steak and is a pleasant change. We feel that $2.50 up charge for switching from brown rice to fried rice is a bit steep. We did not like the egg drop soup as it appears to have yellow food coloring. We would prefer the natural color of eggs. The quality of the meat and vegetables make us interested to try something else here, maybe ramen that many rave about next time.

We have ordered from here several times and have always enjoyed our food including several of their ramens and general tsos chicken. But today we decided to try their sushi, we ordered a Philadelphia roll and a spider roll. The Philadelphia roll was fine, but the spider roll was literally just a piece of romaine lettuce wrapped in rice and seaweed. It is listed on their menu as “deep fried soft shell crab, cucumber, avocado, topped with eel sauce”.
There is a minimal amount of fried crab hanging out the side but it was overwhelmed by the huge piece of lettuce, which is not listed in the description at all. There is no avocado, barely any cucumber. We were very disappointed as this is not what is listed on the menu. We called to inform that we were dissatisfied and were greeted with horrible customer service. There solution was to request it “without lettuce” when placing our order next time. We asked how we were supposed to know to do that when lettuce isn’t listed as an ingredient on their website for the spider roll. They did not have an answer for us but was told he had to go as he was very busy.
Very disappointed and unfortunately won’t be returning.

Very sad to say a pan Asian disaster. Beyond the pale, just bad. I could not finish my tempura bento. Bad rice, pre-packaged everything, nothing fresh here. Don’t waste your time, money, nor energy here. Best thing was the water from the coke machine. Rude service, not good food. Simply not acceptable.

Came in on a Friday at lunchtime. We ordered our food at the counter and then got a table. The food came out hot and fresh. Service was good. The Ramen was very good. The broth in it had a nice rich flavor and lots of meat. The Pad-Thai was a little too sweet for my taste. The appetizers were good too. Price was reasonable

Best Ramen in Asheville without a doubt – never had a bad experience here. Eat here multiple times a month usually, and pick up for others when delivering DoorDash and all the employees are so nice. 10/10 – wish there was another location closer to Arden so I could get it even more often
