This is a tough review for me to write as I think the pizza is generally decent with crispy thin crust, plenty of toppings and fast for pickup. But they recently raised base prices 25-40% for a pizza (see before and after menu) which seems extreme to me. At least they kept topping prices the same. There are some great pizza places around but this was my go-to to save a little $, but now it’s the same expensive pizza as most others, although they do accept coupons. Bummed about the price hikes for this small pizza business.

I am sitting and waiting for a pizza that they put in the oven. Came at the time doordash told me to. Let’s see if they do anything for the inconvenience. The total incompetence people working, not thr pizza maker, seems like he does everything. But the rest of the staff has no clue what they are doing.
Walked in 25 minutes after ordering and my pizza was NOT in the oven. Old owner was crazy but had standards.

I don’t ever post reviews about stuff but it was so bad I had to. Went to pick up a sausage and mushroom pizza and was a bit confused by the onion smell thinking the family member who ordered it must have added it on (they did not). It already smelled a bit funky on the way to my car but when I sat inside with it…. It smelled SO BAD! I had to roll my windows down because the smell of onions was that bad. I open up the box to see what is up and it is CAKED with onion! I love onion but this was excessive to say the least. I was gagging from the smell and I can put up with A LOT! I ate a bite from a slice and wouldn’t you know I can’t taste any of the sausage or mushrooms that were also on the pizza cause all I could taste was onion. I am never going back I have been turned off by this place forever. If you order from this place please double check your order! Cause it can make or break your day in my case my day plummeted from okay to “I wish it was tomorrow already.”

Could you make the meatball hoagie any smaller… I know times are tough but a single good sized meatball cut into thirds to make a 6 inch sub is just ridiculous. But delivery was faster than expected so you got some credit for that. Otherwise it was just underwhelming

What happened to La Rosa? Used to be the best Chicago style thin crust pizza in the area. Not sure happened last night but just not the same pizza. To make matters worse , we received the wrong pizza. And the pizza was burned. When we called to correct it, we were told someone would deliver us a correct pizza. (We picked up the original one.) A few minutes later I received a call saying it was Door dashes problem and they could not deliver it. We never used Door dash! We ordered from the La Rosa website as we have done for many years. And we picked it up. We picked up the second pizza but it was just not good. Definitely not the same LaRosa. Not sure what is happening. New owners? Just bad pizza and service.

Update- They won’t give you a refund if they get your order wrong. They delivered the wrong pizza with toppings I’m allergic to. I called and said that the pizza was wrong and I can’t even eat it, and I even sent the manager a photo. They 1) did not send a replacement, 2) argued about it, and 3) said they would give a refund but never did and the person I spoke to today acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. I lost $47 dollars for ONE pizza I never got- unacceptable.
This place used to be really great, it’s a shame how poorly this place is run now. They’ve gotten my order wrong 3 separate times and then they can’t figure out how to get it right. Not even a complicated order- just 1 or 2 pizzas with two toppings. Multiple phone calls asking where my pizza is and long times on hold. The service and ease/quickness was what made this place great but it’s gone so far downhill that they literally can’t get your order correct or get you the food you want. Don’t order here, they’ll send you a random mystery pizza and then you’ll spend multiple phone calls trying to figure out what went wrong.

Ordered delivery at 6:45. Person came early so I couldn’t meet them right away and told them to leave it in the lobby. It was then stolen which is obviously not their fault, but their reaction to it was horrible. Essentially they BLAMED me and said if I wanted it delivered I would have to pay again. I specifically ordered from them to support a small business and unfortunately will not be ordering from them ever again.

15 to 20 minutes is all it takes to have a great crispy thin crust pizza! We had sausage mushroom and onion along w fried mushrooms and large salad w garlic dressing! Yum!!! Fast delivery too!
