This is the best breakfast spot in ventura county period. I love their aussie breakfast. Matcha. Banana bread. Its all so fresh and filling. There is indoor and outdoor seating. All the employees are very helpful and knowledgable about the menu. Street parking or small parking lot available.

Frontside Café has become one of my favorite spots in Ventura. The quality of the food is consistently incredible, especially for the prices. You really feel like you’re getting great value without anything feeling cheap or rushed.
I’ve worked my way through a good chunk of the menu at this point and honestly haven’t had a single thing I didn’t like. The full Aussie is one of my go-to orders and is always done right, and their açaí bowl is another standout — fresh, balanced, and actually filling instead of just looking good for Instagram.
You can tell they care about ingredients and execution, which goes a long way. On top of that, they serve Beacon Coffee and it’s excellent. Easily some of the better coffee around and a perfect match with the food.
The vibe is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and everything feels well thought out without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place you can stop in regularly and never get tired of.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality food, fair prices, and an easygoing local spot in Ventura.

I found a new Cafe for breakfast in Ventura. I loved the vibe. It was laid back and filled with families and friends eating, conversing and laughing. There were lots of options available. I was so engrossed in conversation, I forgot to take photos of the Aussue meat pie. I had the Bronte bowl. I wished I was specific in requesting that the two eggs boiled till the yolk was hard. I got two eggs with running yolk. That was on me. That being said I definitely recommend Front side Cafe. There is something for everyone.

The cafe is really nice especially sitting outside as it was nice day outside. The staff was super nice and our food was served briskly. We had the yogurt bowl which was really good and had fresh fruit and the special of the day which was pesto biscuit and gravy which was really good as well. For drinks we had iced matcha and hot cocoa both were good but the matcha was a little too milky. Overall the cafe is really nice and a place I would recommended; it is a bit pricey but is understandable for the location.

FRESH & DELICIOUS! Australian beach vibes. Quality coffee. Innovative menu. Family friendly. We went on a Sunday lunch so had to wait a few minutes but was worth any delay in our day. The service was friendly. The food was ever so delicious. The coffee was fantastic. We’ll be coming back for more & highly recommend Frontside Cafe!
