I had a dark and stormy mocktail, goat, and garlic for an appetizer, the airline chicken and then for dessert I had the orange vanilla panna (be sure to mix the salt in). Each meal was plated perfectly, and the flavors are out of this world.
The chicken was as tender as filet mignon and I thoroughly enjoyed it
10/10 will dine again.
I started off with the best of intentions photographing the whole meal but just a few plates in I just started enjoying myself too much I completely forgot!
We started with the Goat and Garlic, the Carrots over Whipped Ricotta, the Beans and Greens and the Beet Salad. We also added on the Fried Flounder to share. Everything came out perfectly warm and bursting with complex flavor combinations. Hats off to the chef!
We left extremely happy with nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. We can’t wait to go back.
If you find yourself in Tryon, NC, Sagrada needs to be at the top of your list of places to enjoy dinner.
Chef Cynthia is an absolute star. The food is creative, comforting, and so full of flavor!! The small plates alone are worth the visit, the Brussels Sprouts are perfectly done, the dates are rich and flavorful, and the warm white beans with toast are simple, cozy, and delicious.
For entrées, the airline chicken is juicy and full of flavor, and the steak was cooked to perfection. And don’t even think about skipping dessert, the tiramisu was yum!
On top of all that, the pricing is incredibly fair for the quality of food, service, and experience you get. This place is a true gem, and we can’t wait to come back again and again. ️✨
Additionally, considering Sagrada has just opened, we were incredibly impressed by how smooth our experience was; which undoubtedly reflects the significant amount of meticulous due diligence that the owners poured into the restaurant on the front end before opening. Well done guys!
We look forward to becoming “regulars” at this lovely establishment! 🙂

We dared opening night service. The menu was small but very well balanced with great options.
The drink menu was very nice. Cocktails were tasty and well balanced. A few more beer selections would have been good, but enough to start. Same with the wine, nice selection. On the cocktail side, the Paloma was delicious; a great balance of sweet and bitter with smooth tequila to boot.
Appetizers: We ordered the the cornbread madelines which did not disappoint. A little less honey might be good for some (me), but I was alone in that. Everyone else thought they were perfect as served The goat cheese was very good. We would definetly order these items again.
Entrées: This is when the kitchen hit a snag. It was slow but our server was gracious providing updates and checking in us. It wasn’t horribly slow but slower than ideal. This was the only time we saw the food rushed. The steaks were tender. They could have used more salt/seasoning and a true sear, but it was still very good. The flounder also needed more salt. You can always add salt, but that doesn’t taste the same. Again, it was still good but one could tell it had the potential to be excellent. The potatoes were firm but tasty, the greens were very good. Mash potatoes were quite good. Now I’ll be picky (my personal taste) the mashed potatoes were a little over salted. Again, the flavor was very good and the texture was spot on. These are not deal breakers by any stretch. The entrées were far better than anything else we can get in town. And, this was opening night when kinks in the process get worked out, hence the detailed feedback.
Service and Space:
Our server was very attentive and friendly. She seemed a little nervous but that didn’t affect the quality at all. When she didn’t have an answer, she asked and got one. Very pleasant experience!
The space is lovely. Chairs are comfortable and tables are ample and welcoming. It is not overdone with kitchy decor so common around here. That’s lovely. From our arrival to our departure we were well attended. The slow down was proactively addressed by the owner. A great sign for future successes. No complaints here.
We will absolutely be back, often and recommend you try Sagrada for your next meal. I hope they think about a high end breakfast/brunch service vs the I can make that home options presently available in Tryon. Just saying, we really liked Sagrad and look forward to their success.
