Welcomed the first moment we walked in the building. Greeted with smiles, laughter and good company! Ordered the country hash browns with jalapeño and mushroom and my partner ordered the country club. Both were excellent. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Will be coming back to try out their lunch & dinner menu!

What a gem hidden in the City of Hartselle! Man I was hungry going in and was super full coming out! Everything tasted fresh and hot. Server lady’s where very friendly and treated me like a local. Excellent all around I look forward to going back. They even have a real separate smoking area for those of you that smoke and you can’t smell it from the non-smoking section. This is what America is ALL about! The entire place was spotless. THANK YOU.

Very disappointing. Waited 45 minutes to get our food, watching other guests who got there after us getting theirs. Food was barely warm, gravy was cold and had no taste, fried eggs were tough, biscuit tasted like canned. Will not be back.

We moved to Hartselle July 2025, we ate breakfast here and it was great. Came back today for the lunch. Good home cooking!

Great food and awesome service. Do we have a little wait time?
There was a large group of people there. Overall I would rate is a ten.

Drove an hour to eat here because I had heard all the great things about this place. Ha If I could give it no stars I would. Entered the door hungry and ready to eat. Was greeted by a lady that claimed to be the manager. Within seconds was in an argument with her in regards to my Service Dog. He was clearly marked with a Service Animal Vest but instead of asking the appropriate question, which is, does he supply a service for you, she asked what service did he perform. I informed her that the question was inappropriate and she started going off about her training and SHE knew what she was doing, and rattled of something about the owner. I explained that he was a Cardiac Alert Dog, and she was getting menus to seat us, but kept on telling me about her training and she had paper work in the back. I initially requested to review the paperwork she was referencing while I had dinner so I could explain to her, her misinterpretation. She kept going on about her being the manager, and something else about having to answer to the owner. Now virtually everyone in the resturant is watching, embarrassed, I decided to find somewhere more pleasant to eat. If she could have stopped taking long enough, I would have explained to her that asking the SPECIFIC training the support animal can perform had nothing to do with service animal laws. The damage such a question causes, is infact the exact problem I encountered. Being put on the spot by her, I answered he’s trained for Cardiac Alert. Now of course everybody in the resturant now knows I have a Cardiac Condition. So in case you actually take time to read this and see what your potential customers have to say, “Your actions are in violation of the Patient Privacy Act. I really didn’t want everybody in the resturant know I had a Cardiac Condition. Maybe you should read up on Patient Privacy before you argue and embarrass another potential customer”.

We waited 30 minutes for breakfast after we ordered.this was my 1st time here. We asked about our order and was told it would probably be another 30 minutes. I had a hair appointment so we left and went to Hardee’s .

Food is really good, once you get it. Wasn’t really busy when we got there yet took a good 45 minutes after ordering to get an omelet and some biscuits and gravy. While the staff is really friendly, the service is horrible.
