Pretty neat place. Tried their brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken and sausages. All fantastic! Also loved their selection of sauces!!! The hot honey was especially delicious. Hope i can visit again in the future soon to try out more of the menu! Forgot to grab more pics was busy stuffing myself.

Outstanding place I love this restaurant! They are patriotic to the Core. The walls are filled with first responder and Military photographs patches memorabilia it actually felt nice to walk into a normal restaurant that isn’t dealing with all this woke bureaucracy of pleasing everyone. This is a tried and true American restaurant.

The staff are outstanding, polite, friendly, courteous, and professional. When I pulled my Tactical PsyOp patch off my jacket, they instantly put it on the wall at eye level, and actually saluted me and said thank you. That alone almost brought tears to my eyes. You don’t see that kind of respect anymore. I have actually been spit on wearing my Army jacket with my patches on it in restaurants down near wealthy and Lake area but I won’t name them cuz I’m a better person.

The food is amazing. My favorite is the brisket but the pulled pork and pulled chicken sandwiches are just as fantastic. The sides are all comfort food. This place is just amazing. I cannot talk more highly of it.

Major disappointment: we arrived at 8 pm. they close at 9 pm. They had no French fries….they had just run out. Didn’t offer to make more. Mission BBQ has the BEST fries. Each one of us (there were 6 of us) was disappointed. It seems with an hour more til closing, they would have made more. That’s why only 3 stars on service. More people came in after we did. The bbq we all got (we all got something different) was DELICIOUS. The coke slaw was perfect. The baked beans had a funny taste — we didn’t eat them. We do really like Mission BBQ and their mission to honor Veterans. So, we will be back — buy hope they don’t stop making French fries an hour before closing.

Great down home, midwest BBQ. Some great mains and sides, the ribs are particularly good and the salmon is fantastic. The Mac n cheese and the cheesy potato bake were phenomenal. Nice laid back atmosphere, and very attentive staff even for an order at the counter restaurant. They have sauces from all the major BBQ regions and some fun bottled soda. Definitely family friendly and reasonably priced.

You wouldn’t know that Mission run several BBQ restaurants as they have a very local vibe.

The restaurant has all the BBQ classics and a killer carved smoked turkey breast that melts in the mouth.

My Smoked Meatloaf was really tasty, and a good sized portion, and my sides of beans and potato salad went together well.

The restaurant offers a choice of sauces and vinegar – My KC classic was smoky and delicious, and the Tupelo Hot Honey took my cornbread to the next level.

The space is well laid out, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the restaurant honors our armed forces and first responders. What more could you want?

Recommended.

First time customer,
Had the best experience with Jim who is a Veteran, fought for our freedom and was a pure hearted example of the kindness we need in our country more now a days! He was so helpful from explaining the sauces taking the time to ask if I like spicy sauce and when I responded with yes he recemended a sauce “Baja bold I recommend trying that sauce if you like spice”, he helped others carry their trays to their tables kept kind conversation with the guest asking if we needed anything else while just bringing is whips and even bringing is to go containers lids and asking what sauces we liked and brought to go containers for us so we could truly enjoy our leftovers! He is 10/10 why we will be coming back on top of the fact the food was so fresh and worth every cent!

Living in Texas we have some pretty high BBQ standards and this restaurant did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the customer service was exceptional! To my surprise they had a picture paying tribute to our dear friend officer Eric Zapata on the wall. I would definitely recommend this bbq restaurant.

I go for the brisket ! But the service feels so personal, they’re like familia.. just like good ol’ San Antone! This Texan transplant had been missing her Texas BBQ Brisket, and lo an’ behold, Mission BBQ not only has brisket, but BBQ Chicken… and Bar-B-Que sauce! You guys make it feel like I’m home and my brothers are making me a cookout

This place is by far the best BBQ place ever! Military themed and extremely military supportive- this shows throughout restaurant. Extremely friendly employees- THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE! You get a very welcome hello when entering! Your order is then at the register, menu on back wall. Find a seat (always clean tables!) and wait for your name to be called. Doesn’t take long for this deliciousness to get prepared. While you wait, enjoy the neat stickers and memorabilia around the restaurant.
Incredible menu selection! Brisket, chicken, sausage, pork, turkey, salmon, Romano of ribs, rotating meats like prime rib and sirlion- even a cheeseburger! Salads available. Kids menu is just the same amazing food but slightly smaller portions. Portions are generous. Always hot, fresh, and delicious!
They have an assortment of beverages, both bottles and fountain. Fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea as well as lemonade. Rotating desserts on menu as well.
Many sides to choose from -Mac and cheese, baked beans with brisket, and fresh cut fries to name a few. Did I mention they have a 6 pack of their original sauces on each table (which are all unique and a must try!) They also have an amazing mustard that pairs nice with the jalapeño cheddar sausage. Cornbread included, it’s 10/10.
Most days there is a really cool military vehicle parked out front.
TRY THIS PLACE YOU WILL NOT REGRET!!!
