The quality of the food at Millie’s was quite amazing. I ordered the daily fish sandwich which for the day I went, was mahi-mahi. The fish was fried to perfection. Crunchy batter on the outside, and flaky fish on the inside, couldn’t have been fried any better. For the side I ordered the elotes, which were almost as good as the fish. So happy I ordered those instead of the fries. Definitely will be coming here again.

I looked up a Triple D restaurant visit in the area and Millies Restaurant came up in my Google search. Decided to give it a try. Not at all disappointed. Definitely 2 thumbs up. The grits are so good! Service was amazing as our waitress topped off drinks and shared dish information. We appreciated the time she took to go over the menu with us. We choose to sit outside, inside noise level was a little too loud for me. The weather was not an issue as the sun set and the temperature dropped a few degrees. The burger I ordered was cooked to perfection and seasoned well. My hubby and I split an order of the cheese grits. Millies prices are fair. Parking is a bit of an issue but we found a spot on the side of the building. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem wrapped up in a simple ambience. Be it service, the welcoming smile, hot food served or the attentiveness, this restaurant tops the game. We had a lunch today in this restaurant and we could sense the passion the chef has infused in his dishes served to us. We had Fish francaise, Pesto bowl and kid’s pasta and to finish the lunch with pecan pudding. Everything was top notch. Hats off to Sophia who had been juggling with multiple orders and tables but always remembered what everyone wanted and the smile she always had while attending to everyone. Reservation is recommended.

Our first visit to Millie’s was very enjoyable mostly because of the food. We ordered fish sandwiches, one grilled, another blackened. Today’s fish was flounder which was very tasty and flavorful. The accompanying French fries tasted really good, though not crispy and thankfully not soggy. It was clear that the ingredients were fresh.
The bourbon maple bread pudding was simply heavenly, and served warm with above-average vanilla ice cream. The ice cream exposed the deep and varied flavors of the bread pudding.
Our server William was friendly and efficient.
A few negatives to note:
1. The restaurant was out of fish collar appetizer, apparently one of their specialty items
2. William noted several times that the amount of fish they had was limited as he was describing the menu. Note that there were only two of us, and this was close to closing time
3. There was no wifi available to guests, I couldn’t really understand the excuse
4. There is a 3% surcharge for credit card use. This continues to be one of my biggest pet peeves when dining out domestically, especially since a lot of places we’ve traveled internationally have gone (mostly) cashless
Millie’s is highly recommended for the freshness and quality of the food. Don’t expect too much from the decor or environment. And be prepared to pay a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.

Scratch made menu… Absolutely the best dinner I’ve had in the area. This is the blackened mahi with squash, cheddar grits and a creole cream sauce. Crazy good.

Excellent meal from a scratch kitchen. Everything was great. We had the gator ribs appetizer. Fish of the day, grouper, made blackened on a po’boy with the house chips, awesome Wife had a grouper fillet that was excellent. We also had the bread pudding for dessert and guess what? It was excellent too! Definitely recommend stopping by.

Ordered thanksgiving day diner. Turkey was processed meat tasted like spam. Green bean casserole wasn’t even cooked green beans hard as a rock. Brussels sprouts were burnt. Mac & cheese was the only thing eatable.
We were referred here by one of customers.
So to sum this story up. We spent $71.50 on a completely offensive & disappointed meal.
Will never return & will spread the bad news.
