First of all the guys were great. Other people’s Pizza looked great so I was super optimistic. Mine however was a disaster. I got the Margherita Pizza. Simple right? Apparently not. They used part-skim mozzarella instead of whole milk or burrata, and the crust is so thick that none of the sauce soaked in and turned into a soupy mess. What I got was a really tomatoey pizza with small balls of regular mozzarella super sparsely placed about. (And where was the garlic?) They did put fresh basil on it however. This was an attempt at a Margherita pizza and with no real ingredients to make it a real margarita pizza it was failed attempt.

Absolutely. They never disappoint. Recently during a snowstorm I made an automated order. Automation made it all wrong; Trent made it all right. I have been eating at Minsky’s over 20 years and Trent is hands down the best manager. The staff is also amazing. I want to thank them for showing up in inclement weather with smiles on their faces. We love coming to Minsky’s on Friday’s. Bella is da bomb!!!!! ♥️ love her to pieces. She’s so personable and hospitable. Her smile lights up the room, every time.
There’s a new manager the last few months I wonder about. She seems to be over the bar, which is fine, but instead of helping when needed she is over Bella’s shoulder, have seen her be in the way more than a few times. I have never been in a management role but feel it should be a supportive role and not a babysitting role.

What can I say that most people have not already said or know. Minsky’s has remained Kansas City’s best place for pizza. They are so consistent with the quality, service and it taste the same as it did when I was a kid. My order as usual: a medium hamburger pizza on original crust, house salad with Greek vinaigrette, occasionally jumbo, buffalo wings (so freakin’ good) with Sprite to drink. Worth whatever price they set!

Just stick to the pizza. The $12 Mac & cheese is a kids size portion (see photo with 1/2 cup food measure) and it was missing the meat that was supposed to come with it (which they refunded me for). My mozz sticks were cold and the marinara was watery. I had showed up a bit early to pick up my order so I checked in with the cashier and had a seat while I waited for it to be done. I saw multiple food orders come out in boxes and saw what possibly looked like mine but no one was calling me so I continued to wait. 15 min later I walked up to the counter and asked if that was my food and he said yes, and did not apologize after I told him it’d been sitting there awhile. I walked home across the street and had to reheat everything. Disappointing.

I got the chicken Alfredo and I was very disappointed this time, I bought it once before and it was so delicious but this time it did not have any taste.. it was bland and the sauce was watered down which took away from the flavor.. I will think twice about buying it again even though it was good the first time and I know it depends on what cook was there but I not going to try and figure that out.. if they are not consistent in it being cooked right then I am not doing that.. just when I thought I found a restaurant that cooks good chicken Alfredo went out the window..

I love the staff, they’re always very sweet, and the food is INCREDIBLE. The only reason I’m leaving only 2 stars is because they switched to an AI answering machine. I’m sick of AI, it’s such a waste of energy&resources. To see my favorite pizza joint implement it really makes me sad. I want to talk to the staff that I actually like!!

Very great pizza place ! The Margherita and Combo pizza was delicious. We did on thin crust and one thick, they were both excellent. The wings are actually jumbo! They were good, but a little dry. The salads were great.
Above all, the staff was friendly and just made for a great atmosphere.
