This is the first time I’ve been able to have a gluten free cake made for my birthday since I’ve been diagnosed with Celiacs. I’m so happy I could cry. It’s delicious. 10/10 highly recommend to all those who 1: love desserts and 2: can’t have gluten. Very thankful to be able to feel normal for the first time in years

Joe at Minooka did a phenomenal job providing the desserts for our wedding. We did a small cake and an assortment of other sweets and they were all delicious! We got so many compliments on the desserts, many were gone before my husband and I even made it to the dessert table. He did an excellent job decorating our cake based on the pictures provided, we almost didn’t want to cut it. My husband’s uncle was especially pleased with the chocolate cream pie we ordered with him in mind. In addition to being tasty, everything was an excellent price. I would highly recommend using Minooka Pasty Shop for all your sweet needs.

FYI– this bakery make the absolute BEST chocolate chip Birthday cookie hands down ! Do not but store bought ! So tasty, fresh and beautifully decorated! My son loved it.

Really great, locally owned bakery. Good variety and ample parking. Prices are reasonable but they charge you for the packaging, so be sure to get and read your receipt.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The prices are extremely high for what you actually get, and unfortunately the quality just doesn’t match the cost. The product seemed like it is 4 days old, soaked in fat and barely any flavor.
For the price they’re charging, I expected much better quality and more refined flavors. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

We get all of our gluten free cakes from Minooka. They made this fantastic sun-themed birthday cake for my wife’s birthday this year. Even with gluten free ingredients the cake is very moist and the buttercream icing is delicious. The colors perfectly matched the references I gave them, and they were able to make the cake with only a few days’ notice. We’ll continue to use them for all of our special occasion cakes! (And the gluten free macarons were also delicious!)

Minooka made us a custom cake for our wedding. We wanted it to be heart shaped and delivered to the state park where our reception took place. They made the process easy with a quick sit down meeting / taste test and we brought a couple inspiration photos. They also brought matching gluten free cupcakes for our gluten free guest. We got our wedding cake from Minooka Pastry Shop and it was DELICIOUS—we got tons of compliments on it. The banana nut flavor was especially yummy! Can attest that the cake was flavorful, had great texture, the icing was to die for—and we had a lovely time picking out the cake & going over the details with Joe, it was a really nice experience. Also have very good things to say about their customer service overall—we had to postpone our wedding for a few months because my mother passed away, and staff were incredibly kind, flexible, & gracious during a very difficult time. Can’t recommend Minooka enough for baked goods, including anyone reading this who’s looking for desserts for their wedding.
