I had lunch at the Miners café with my Mom. The waitress/cook did super good job. Her, Zella, cooked up a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup that was delicious. I also had a cheeseburger and fries. Very good food!
Met the owner Clayton who also was very hospitable and friendly.

I have been to my fair share of small towns, and many smaller restaurants have limited menus and limited hours which is totally understandable- but most places serve decent food when they are open. This place had awful service. Waited almost 2 hrs for a crappy frozen patty. The staff at the bar was decent but the restaurant was abysmal. Bring your own food to cook if you stay in zortman and save yourself money and headache.

Burgers and steaks are very good and flavorful. Bartender will really bend your ear with stories. Very good place to relax after a long day out. People are very friendly and town is quiet, lots of campi ng areas around.
