Local frozen custard place with a DQ vibe. The Whitser is basically a blizzard but better! They have a few seats outside and a few inside. Best for take-out with a large family.

This was our first time at Whit’s and it certainly won’t be our last! We were so impressed with the staff—they were incredibly friendly, patient as we navigated the menu for the first time, and they genuinely seemed to be having a good time at work.
The custard is so incredibly creamy and fresh. We loved that they have a rotating ‘Flavor of the Week’ the Sea Salt Caramel was great. This is a perfect spot for a quick, high-quality treat.

Super duper nice staff even though we walked in kind of late. They were especially pleasant to the kids. Lots of options. You don’t need to order a big size because even the mini/kid is hard to finish, and we love ice cream!

BEST ICE CREAM IN ASHEVILLE and SUPER FRIENDLY PEOPLE! My daughter and I visit Asheville every year and we go to Whits every time too. This is by far the best Whits we have been to. The people could not be friendlier and go above and beyond. The ice cream is delicious too, with lots of options! It can be 30° outside and we will still go to the Whits. Definitely check it out if you’re feeling like something sweet.

We were passing through while traveling home for the holidays and unfortunately we were disappointed. We felt the service was quick but unfriendly. Their drive around almost ruined my car. There is a pothole you have to avoid but risk hitting the building. The custard was decent but I dont believe we would stop again.

Frozen Custard is so much better than ice cream. I got the penguin tracks, and it was really good. They have different flavors on different days. I appreciate that they closed on New Year’s, also.

I like whitts but lately the soft serve is too soft and most of all WHERE IS PUMPKIN, PUMPKIN SPICE IN THE ENTIRE MONTH OF OCTOBER?? I really miss this flavor. Could certainly use some black licorice to go along with that.
