Excellent Japanese food prepared by a chef from Japan. Shrimp tempura and chicken karaage are fantastic. And at a great price, too, if you do the early bird special, before 7 pm. Waitresses and waiters are friendly, too. All around great experience.

Minato has by far the best karaage chicken I’ve ever tasted. The batter is so crisp and flavorful. The chicken, so juicy. Pair it with grilled salmon, and you’ve got a great lunch. At $8 for a karaage and salmon combo, it can’t be beaten.
