I enjoyed our waiter. I enjoyed the inside interior of the bakery/dinner. The owner was engaging and sociable with all the patrons. Although my only issue was the amount of food on a first visit, I would go back, as the baked pastries (which I went to the diner for in the first place) were delicious, particularly the carrot cake and the peach cobbler! The food smelled great and looked great. Again, first visit went very well, and I would recommend it as a go-to spot in Holt Summit!

This place has truly been life changing. The people there are so loving and kind, and my family always finds excuses to go. We have already decided that she is doing our wedding cake in 4 years. Papa is also amazing in the kitchen. His food is great, and this is seriously my favorite place to eat. Love love love.

After stumbling upon this place we decided we needed a home cooked meal and that’s exactly what we got. By far one of my favorite restaurants. The food was excellent and the family atmosphere was the icing on the cake. The place was also beautifully decorated. We recommend for anyone who wants food like Grandma used to make.

They have fresh baked bread and buns at the restaurant made right there in the bakery. Big portions. Everything I’ve tried [practically the entire menu] tasted great. My favorites: the Tenderloin and the Kiss Cookies. It’s clean and smoke free. Am proud to say that MiMi and Papa are 2 of my 3 kids. Most of the staff are family. Everyone should check them out.

Great burger and tumble weed onion rings. Seasoned fries were great too! I love the homemade pecan pie. My husband has the cherry cheesecake. They were making the homemade icing for their German chocolate cake when we left.

We frequent this place and have always had amazing service and food! They are always so sweet and welcoming. The food is home made and the home made bread and burger buns are out of this world! Make sure to pick out some dessert to take with you after that yummy meal!

If your driving through, on vacation or looking for a real great Non chain place, then Mimi and Papas is one one of the top 5 one off places to eat in Jefferson City area. Great foor and dinner, then walk one step to the fresh bakery were Mimi will have you sweet tooth singing church song while you eat her treats. Now Papa will have you unbuttoning you pants, raising the steering wheel up and seat back a bit while yiu drive home happy as a hog. The portions are perfect, the food is hot and you wont be hungry when you leave. This is real deal tasty home cooked food. Skip taco gross, and go to this place. Its a great environment and very friendly service.
