My husband and I visited during the weekend for the first time, literally because we could not find another place open – AND WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID!
Amazing place, absolutely everything was delicious, amazing service twice (because we returned the next day for dessert and drinks). And they deserve 6/5 stars
My favorite dish was my husband’s, the osobuco! Loved the shrimps appetizer (but that’s a huge size for two though as an appetizer )
We are very happy to learn they are also near us in New York since it had sadden us to think we were not going to be able to return to this restaurant since we were just visiting the area for the weekend.

My wife and I had lunch at Miller’s Ale House today and everything exceeded our expectations. We started with an order of buffalo wings, which were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the filet mignon with vegetables and a loaded baked potato — the steak was incredible! Honestly, I wouldn’t have expected a steak of that quality from an ale house.
I was debating between a burger and the French dip sandwich, and our waitress Sabrina recommended the French dip. It was phenomenal — the perfect choice.
Sabrina was attentive, helpful, and extremely sweet. It’s rare to encounter a server who makes the experience that welcoming and personable. Even if the food hadn’t been amazing (which it absolutely was), we would still return just because of her outstanding service.
Highly recommend both the food and the exceptional service!

Came in just because they were not busy and it was 11:00 Husband and I ordered our drinks we ordered spinach artichoke dip which was not even put on our check to grilled chicken sandwiches. It is now 1135. We still do not have our sandwiches. And there is nobody in the restaurant. 11:40 If it wasn’t for the bartender, we would not have our So I give her props.11:43 food finally came out. The manager finally came out and did his rounds. Managers did take the appetizer off the bill. Manager was nice and polite, but he needs to make sure that his weight staff is more attentive to the patrons that come in the place. The food was ok

We waited nearly an hour for food. The location was not extremely busy. We were a group of 6. Our server made sure we had drinks and kept checking in but our food took forever. We got the chicken fingers over fries. 2 orders both had lukewarm chicken. They tasted good flavor wise but it was not hot at all. Our dinners cane out almost immediately. Most were hot but another chicken dish came out cold. The manager offered to make a new one, but we never do that. It’s a personal preference, not an indication of known poor kitchen practice.

I recently dined at Miller’s Ale House in Wilkes-Barre and had mixed feelings about the experience.
I ordered the Pork Osso Buco, and to be fair, the meat itself was excellent. It was well-seasoned, tender, and full of flavor—definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the sides left a lot to be desired. The mashed potatoes amounted to barely a tablespoon, which felt more like a garnish than an actual side dish. The broccoli portion was also minimal and undercooked, as if it had been barely steamed. For a $30 plate, I expected a more balanced and satisfying meal, not just a great piece of meat with almost no accompaniments.
Service was average. My waitress was friendly but clearly overwhelmed with too many tables, which led to delays and a lack of attentiveness. It didn’t feel like her fault as much as it did a staffing or management issue.
The atmosphere was generally pleasant, but I found the small tabletop gaming devices to be distracting and unnecessary. They automatically charge $2.50 to play, essentially putting a screen in your face while you’re trying to enjoy your meal. It added no real value to the dining experience and felt like just another way for the restaurant to squeeze out a few extra dollars.
Overall, while the pork itself was delicious, the disappointing sides, mediocre service, and unnecessary table gimmicks made the meal feel overpriced and underwhelming. For $30, I expect not just good flavor but also fair portions and a complete dining experience. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Totally disappointed! We were really looking forward to trying this place, as we are new to the area. Safe to say, we will not be back. The atmosphere was weird – we were seated in a booth that had an extremely bright spotlight on our table. On to the food. I ordered a cheeseburger, medium rare – and it was completely raw in the middle. By the time the waitress came back to ask how our meal was, my husband had already finished his dinner. Worst margarita I have ever had! I appreciate the manager comping my meal without having to ask for it. Just really disappointed!

Food and service always a 10/10. The staff here is always kind to us no matter how late we arrive. There was some rude ladies at the bar tonight that were very mean to manager and bartender for no reason. Yelling and saying bad words. He is always working hard and always check on our food and make sure everything good. The bartender always works hard too. I feel bad they had to go through this.
