First time at Miller & Carter and I get it now. The steak was cooked absolutely perfectly — the kind of steak that makes you stop talking mid-sentence. Dessert didn’t mess about either. Everything on the plate just worked together far too well.
Huge shout-out to Georgia for the service. Friendly, professional, and actually enjoyable to talk to. She kept everything running smoothly and made the whole experience feel relaxed.
Great food, great service, and a dangerous place to visit if you like steak a bit too much. Would 100% come back again.

We went for dinner on Wednesday and had a fantastic experience. Georgia, who looked after us, was amazing — she recommended everything we ordered and every single choice was spot on. Definitely ask for her advice!
The chef, Vosco, did the rest of the magic: the food was delicious, well cooked, and full of flavour. Service was quick, the quality was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable.
We’ll definitely be coming back.

Valentine’s Day awful experience
Unfortunately we were let down, I ended up paying for only 1 meal because our experience was so disappointing. The food was not high quality at all. The waiting team were brilliant, their team clearly let them down. I ordered a steak, they ran out, I ordered another steak instead. When my partners food came out an hour after originally ordering (we were aware of backlog as it’s a busy day) I was then waiting for my food for 45 minutes having to watch him eat and he finished before mine had even come out. I was made aware my food hasn’t even been started and he had already finished his food. Not only did I have to wait I decided I’d rather take my food home because it was not a great experience and not point eating on my own. My food was so bland, no flavour and not cooked to medium rare like I asked it was medium. My wine didn’t come out when I ordered it had to check in with another waitress and ask for it again. The male host I’m assuming, in a grey waistcoat probably a manager or host was incredibly rude to his staff, it made me uncomfortable and angry. clearly stressful as it was busy how we he put his hands in his staffs faces telling them he was to busy which is so rude I will not be coming back. Summer, was very lovely and apologetic about the entire experience an another waitress was also very kind to us. I hope that the team are able to praise these girls as it’s not their fault for other peoples failures. I would not recommend unfortunately and was my first time coming to this restaurant. My partner said his food was fine nothing special.

Finn, the grill chef, prepared our food to perfection. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted absolutely delicious.

Came here with my partner for our anniversary and it was phenomenal. Our steak expert was Jessil who was very attentive, kind and welcoming. Made us feel looked after without being in our faces so lovely balance of perfect customer care and satisfaction vs personal space. Our chef was Callum and omg the best steak I’ve had from here; used to come here a lot so obviously new or just got unlucky and missed him during the other visits haha! Beautifully juicy cooked steak with diamond charring. Honestly I couldn’t say a single fault with our evening. Drinks from the bar staff were smooth and delicious also Also wonderful highlight was being surprised with a chocolate brownie for our special occasion.

I’ve tried Miller and Carter from a number of different locations and it has always been a good experience. No other restaurant, even the fancy posh restaurants in London, have been able to match the steak here. You leave feeling so full and get your money’s worth always! The steak with it’s side salad and dressing choices, along with the various choices for steak sauce and the side make it a nice wholesome meal. I have tried other mains but nothing beats the steak here. Personally some of the starters have been a hit and miss for me, not the restaurant’s fault it came down to my choosing. The desserts were nice but I wasn’t too fond of the brownie, would have been better choosing the sticky toffee pudding.

I booked a visit as it was my late wife’s birthday since her passing in October and wanted to try and keep to our tradition of going to Miller & Carter.
I was a bit apprehensive as to how I might be, but the waitress, Angelica, who served me was very kind, sympathetic, supportive and also put me at great ease.
Angelica and the excellent cooks, took the time to make an additional birthday pudding for my late wife, which was a lovely touch that I am very grateful for.
Our three-year old daughter, enjoyed the pudding immensely.
I had the white chocolate crème brûlée to honour my wife, as she always loved having them here and I had never actually tried one. I’ll certainly have one again.
Was a lovely experience and I know, Nicola, my late wife would have enjoyed it immensely.
