I wish I could give a thousand stars! This place feels like home and the people family. It’s more than a coffee shop, it’s the greatest community. Everything is done with love and you feel so welcome right when you walk through the door. The food and coffee are spot on! Make this magical place your regular spot!

Now don’t get me wrong this is a good place for other things than coffee but it is a coffee shop, I’ve been here many times and not once have they failed to disappoint with their coffee, it is always burnt and the coffee beans were over roasted I can make a better coffee at home with my home espresso bar that would be easier than driving all the way to Salem for a medicore at best cup of coffee, if you want some coffee I would recommend finding somewhere else. The coffee is past dark roast and very very burnt don’t go here is you like good coffee.

I asked for the harvest wrap, minus the wrap to make it a salad. And they didn’t hesitate to make it either. I asked for a large salad and they delivered. The salad was amazing. Definitely going back again. Had to unsweetened peach tea, it was delicious also without any sweetener.

This was the coffee I didn’t finish.

I stopped here on my way home to Georgia. I love coffee and often visit different cafés to enjoy both the drink and the atmosphere. I chose this place because of the good reviews, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to them.

The coffee beans were low quality — about the same as in the well-known “mermaid” chain. The interior was quite dark, and the cashier didn’t seem happy to see me. Maybe it was just a bad day, but it still left an impression.

I ordered an espresso and a cheese danish. The pastry tasted like something from Walmart. Disappointing. 3 stars.

Great old budding for a coffee roaster. Coffee was fresh and good. Omlette was good and big. Service was top, very friendly, energetic and helpful. Like the rugged old building

Been here a few times & my drinks are always delicious. Got a lime & coconut limeade today & it was awesome (thank you to the barista for the recommendation). Love all the art that’s on display. Great place to catch up with friends or on homework assignments .

The person work was kind, quick and accommodating. I ordered and he was Will to bring my food out to the patio while I went to get my dog.

I ordered an iced chai tea which was average…I’ve drank many at various coffee stores and am quite picky though. One thing I’d note is whole milk wasn’t an option.

I also ordered the biscuits and gravy which was also average at best.

The shop itself was very clean, organized and cute. I was happy that there was a space for me to sit with my dog as well though it was right next to the street not up against the building.

I had a witch’s brew latte with honey and lavender. One of the best I’ve had! They roasted their coffee beans in a huge roaster where you can see them doing it. Pretty interesting. Pastries looked good too but I only got coffee.

I stopped by Mill Mountain Coffee & Tea this morning and had their breakfast egg omelet with a freshly brewed coffee—both were spot on. The omelet was fluffy and well-stuffed, just the right start to my day. The coffee was rich, aromatic, and clearly brewed with care from their locally roasted beans.

The vibe was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who seemed genuinely enthusiastic. It’s a laid‑back, comfortable spot—perfect for breakfast or catching up on work. Plus, this place is a local favorite and known for its great baked goods and full breakfast menu .

If you’re in downtown Roanoke and craving a quality breakfast and a top‑notch cup of coffee, this spot should definitely be on your list!
