Our first time at Absolutely Mario’s and what an absolutely amazing dining experience. The staff was amazing and so welcoming, the food was perfectly cooked and dessert was delicious. It was a pleasure to meet Mario who goes around to greets everyone. They treat you like family and don’t rush you out the door. Definitely we will be back many more times to come.

My family and I stopped by here on a weekday to eat lunch together. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by staff and accommodated accordingly. The waiters provided us menus and provided their own tips when we questioned them on the best sellers.
We went with the Calamari and fried zucchini for appetizers. Both dishes were served fresh and tasted delicious. For entrees we went with chicken Parm, Pasta, and shrimp. Although the delivery took some time, it was expected as each dish was made fresh. The dishes were well proportioned and the waiter even took the courtesy to pack up our leftover for us to bring home.
Perhaps the most notable aspect of this family owned restaurant is the way you feel welcomed and accepted as family; Especially considering we were of a South Asian Background. The owner himself ( Mario ) came to us personally several times asking us if we needed anything, providing jokes, and making our visit more than just eating food.
If I am in the neighborhood again, I plan to come back. It goes without saying, but I ABSOLUTELY recommend this restaurant !

Great atmosphere. People are very friendly. Food was so delicious. We had fettuccine bolognese, veal special and chicken scarpariello. And dinner wouldn’t be complete without a visit from “Absolutely Mario” I highly recommend this place.

Our 1st time at your restaurant and it will not be our last! Food and service were wonderful. But the icing on the cake was your DJ!!! OMG – having him there made the night perfect! I was with the large group on the back left of the main room. There were 17 of us at the table and many more at the bar – like 30 of us. If you have this DJ monthly, I can guarantee our Rock Voice choir will be there – with many more of us! Plus, I live local and we plan for this to be our new favorite Italian place!

We made a last minute decision to go out for dinner and called ‘Absolutely Mario’ to see if we could get a table. I asked “do you have a table for 2 available within the next 30 minutes? The cheerful response was “absolutely!” We were shown to a comfy booth. The service was great. My dinner – Rigatoni al forno was excellent. Pasta cooked perfectly. The pomodora sauce was made with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella. Atmosphere was nice. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is next door to White Castle. It has a parking lot and one outdoor seating area, but I don’t know if it is only for display. I came here during lunchtime on a weekday and it was not busy. There is a bar area in the middle of the restaurants. In addition, the lunch menu prices are cheaper than the dinners menu prices.
A bread basket with butter was provided to the table. I got the grill salmon, which comes with a side of vegetables and pasta. The server also provided cheese to top off your food. The food was good.

Absolutely Mario’s – An Absolute Failure
We took my dad to dinner here for his birthday, and the entire night was completely ruined.
We had 6:00 pm reservations for a party of 10. Appetizers did not arrive until 7:40 pm, an hour and a half later. In those 90 minutes, we were served only two rounds of drinks. Dinner didn’t come out until 8:30 pm, which is unacceptable by any standard.
When the food finally arrived, some of the entrees were wrong, and the sides came out 20 minutes after the main courses. After waiting hours, they couldn’t even get the orders right.
We repeatedly asked to speak with the manager or owner. When he finally came over, his solution was to offer free coffee and dessert, an insulting response to what had already been a ruined evening. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this is their standard response to major service failures, which speaks volumes about the lack of accountability at this restaurant.
We clearly stated we were only paying for drinks, appetizers, and the single edible meal my mom was able to eat. Despite this, the owner attempted to charge us $600 for food we did not eat. When asked if we wanted the food wrapped to take home, we said absolutely not and reiterated that we were not paying for it.
Things became even more inappropriate when we were pressured to pay half the bill in cash instead of by credit card. We ultimately paid half the bill while being treated rudely and dismissively by the owner.
As we were leaving, after completely ruining my dad’s birthday dinner, they somehow thought it was appropriate to have someone sing “Happy Birthday” to him, accompanied by an accordion, as we walked out the door. It was awkward, tone deaf, and deeply inappropriate given how the night had gone.
This wasn’t just bad service. It was grossly mismanaged, unprofessional, and disrespectful. What should have been a celebration turned into an exhausting and embarrassing ordeal.
If you value your time, your money, or the people you’re celebrating, do not come here. Absolutely Mario’s is not worth the risk. Not even worth one star !
