I went here a couple of weeks ago with one of my close friends and absolutely LOVED it! Emily waited on us and was absolutely amazing. She had great drink and food recommendations. The fried cheese ravioli was delectable. We both had the Tuscan Chicken & Shrimp as our entree which was very delicious; the mustard lemon dill sauce was unique and paired well with the other flavors. I will definitely be returning. The service, food, and overall ambiance were quite lovely.

So I’m sorry for the pictures of the half-eaten food but it was so delicious I couldn’t help but start eating before realizing I might want to review this place… And I would have to say it is amazing. Small towns don’t usually have a lot going for them but there always seems to be one diamond in the rough and Milazzo’s is that diamond. If you want authentic Italian, this is the place to go in Covington, Porterdale, or really anywhere within a 50 miles radius.

Photos are of the stuffed mushrooms, a perfectly cooked rare filet, and the Dover Sole.

My first visit was last night. Sat at the bar. Long island was great. I am a watcher…i pay attention to social dynamics, etc. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and working well together. Didn’t pick up on any tensions or drama… which from my perspective, says a lot. Quite often when I’m out to eat…i pick up on interpersonal/staffing issues.

The service was great. Christina herself was quite attentive and helpful. You can tell she really cares and wants her patrons to enjoy their dining experience. The bartender was very helpful and knowledgeable when explaining the dishes to me…he helped me pick out one I ended up loving.

In my experience, I’ve always had to travel into the Atlanta area to find a dining experience like this. Nice to know there’s a spot like this way out here. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and orders were taken and delivered in a very timely fashion. Cheesecake desert to wrap up the evening. I will definitely be back.

I wanted to love this place. It’s quaint, close to home, and it appears to be locally owned. My wife and I went on a date here a few months ago. We ordered 2 appetizers, our dinner and wine. First, the interior is perfect. It’s dark, cozy and inviting. We had very high hopes. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. This is where it started going down hill. After ordering and getting our wine we were given bread and oil. The bread was sourdough I think and was soft and chewy, just not at all what you want at an Italian restaurant. Very soon after we reviewed both of out appetizers. We were planning a long leisurely dinner. The apps. Were ok, but no more than 2 minutes after our apps were served, our main course was brought over. The girl bringing it asked if we wanted to clear our app from the table, we had hardly touched them. She crowded the food on the table, so we just went with it. The food had almost no flavor at all. I had to add salt just to have a taste. My wife couldn’t even eat her clam pasta. We started for around an hour total, and our waiter sat at another table with other wait staff playing on his phone and chatting. We were ignored for the rest of the meal until our check was produced. We would have enjoyed another glass of wine, but at this point we both just wanted to get out of there. After we left, we stopped for ice cream because neither of us had eaten much of anything. Very disappointing for a slightly upscale menu, price wise.

This place has an absolute ton on unrealized possibilities. I think that the owner probably has excellent taste, but their staff is completely dropping the ball.

Nice atmosphere. Service was good. They were out of one of the appetizers we wanted. My husband loved his dish. He had steak with scallops. I had pasta with scallops and shrimp. The pasta was all stuck together . Thought it should have large scallops the small ones were over done and not very good. I had a Italian margarita? It tasted like a normal drink.

Hubby and I braved the freezing cold and wind this evening to dine at what has become our new FAV eating establishment! Place has tons of atmosphere, skilled and gregarious waiters(the best) and very very delicious food! Fabulous presentation and prices that are no worse than say Olive Garden. Food tastes infinitely better than you could imagine. Cant hardly wait to return.

Have been over to this great spot a few times now. Highly recommend if you want a truly delicious meal and some amazing drinks. The Chef is amazing and will not disappoint you. The wait staff is amazing and recommends some of the best drinks they have. Will continue to go back for the great atmosphere and food.

The atmosphere is great, wonderful live music, great for a mood setting date night with you better half. The cocktails were great, the appetizers were delicious, service was excellent!

When the main course came out, the brussel sprouts were so good! The garlic mashed potatoes were on point! My wife’s orzo was delicious with the most succulent sauce. The veal was literally raw, like, it was breaded with flower, and never cooked such a bummer because everything else was so great. My medium rare fillet was also cold, purple and raw. Maybe just a bad night for the chef. Hoping so, and we will be back to give it another shot and hopefully a full five star review.

The lady singing was sooooo good and our waitress did an excellent job caring for us.

What a lovely place for a post holiday shopping meal. Good food, generous cocktails, employees were lovely and helpful, live music and it was decorated very festively for the season. It was a google find as we are not from the area and I am SO glad we landed here. The exterior was charming and as we pulled up there even happened to be a snow machine creating snow flurries (the perfect touch to a magical night) Could not have asked for a better destination. So happy we found it.

Such a neat atmosphere and stoic vibe. Very accommodating staff and waiter recommended an amazing entree. The side house salad was huge with amazing chunks of shredded parmesan all throughout. Food came out very quick and was piping hot. Highly recommend.
