We went to this restaurant after driving past twice and being curious. We are so glad we did! We sat at the bar during happy hour. Our bartender Ricky was so attentive and kind. His service alone would cause us to return.
We started with the happy hour appetizer of pork ribs and the non happy hour queso fundido. The ribs had great flavor(not spicy) and were so tender. The meat fell right off the bone! The queso fundido was real cheese with pickled onions, peppers and chorizo. It was really good. We split the chamorro al adobo. I’m so glad we did as the portion was huge. Again, the pork was so tender and so flavorful. We’d definitely order this again and again! To finish we had the plantain dessert and it was delicious! On top of this we ordered a few beers, margaritas and a coffee mixed drink. All were really good which is saying a lot since I don’t like margaritas (ordered by my partner) and I enjoyed it!
We’ll certainly be returning and are upset it took us so long to try! The inside is nicely decorated, but more importantly, it is clean! The service is great with people constantly checking to see if more chips and salsa (complimentary) are needed and removing dishes. Go if you haven’t been. You’ll thank me later!

I finally found a good Mexican food place in the springs – it was truly a “milagro!” I am from southern CA and this hit it out of the park! Wonderful service , great ambience and delicious food. I had the flautas and my husband had the tacos al pastor. The margaritas were on point. We shared arroz con leche for dessert and it was amazing . We finally found our spot.

The tacos were okay, not anything special. It was the blandest Mexican food I have ever eaten. There was no flavor to the rice or beans. We had mushroom tacos and tacos Carne Asada.
The churros were good but served in a replica of a street cart, I think. It took up the better part of our table and made conversation impossible. Churros are served with good chocolate sauce and a very sweet white sauce.
Our server was attentive.

Saw restraunt review on local news which got great reviews. One of the dishes they pitched was the 5hr roasted pork shank. As it’s a fave of mine , I had to try it. Im hooked. Great food, prices and service. I drive 45 minutes to get my fix.

Everything from the decor, the food, the drinks and the service was amazing.

Our server was able to accommodate my husband’s dinner request as it was not a menu item and was so patient with my grandmother and great aunt.

We will definitely be back when visiting the springs.

Beautiful atmosphere. Beautiful yummy drinks. Good food. The worst salsa I have ever experienced by a lot. I’d bring my own before I’d eat their tomato soup salsa.

I come from out of town and saw this place was good to eat and It was a great choice to make. The food was good, its worth its price ,service as well PLUS the drinks were authentic and great compared to what im used to. The atmosphere is not too loud but neither too calm. I was able to have a conversation across the table without having to speak loudly. I would most definitely recommend coming here and if you choose an alcoholic drink you should get ‘verde’.
