Fantastic experience: While staying in NM we had two visits at this restaurant. First visit we had the Fried Chicken Steak and it was amazing with the green chili grave. This picture it is also from fried chicken steak, but with pasta. The pozole soup was tasty.

The food was good. I had the Tallarin a la huancain montado which was quite flavorful. Not as good as I was expecting for the prices asked but still quite good. Drinks where unique sounding then average upon consumption.

I’ve never been accused of seeking out Peruvian food. But man the chicken fried ribeye was pretty flippin tasty. The service went out of their way to greet us and make us feel welcome. The outside seeing was amazing in the summer. Wish they had more options on the beverage menu. But if that’s my only complaint were all doing pretty well. We also lover the mashed potatoes and corn.

The food is amazing every time we visit here. We were here in November 2020 and again today. The service and food are amazing. The live music is the correct volume to enjoy a conversation and the music. The potato appetizer with the yellow cream sauce is one of my favorite dishes. Their ribeye is very well seasoned and cooked. You cannot go wrong with any dish here.

We came here as part of a small tour. Environment was airy & the views were great. We had a 3 course meal. The potato soup was excellent, the main entree was fine but the pork was a bit dry, the chocolate mousse for dessert was good they gave us a tiny portion.

I know every server has a bad night, but this was really really bad. There were about 5 servers mulling around and there were only 4 other tables and it took over 15 minutes for someone to get to us, and only after we complained. We informed her my man was lactose intolerant but the ceviche we ordered came out with a cream sauce, so we couldn’t eat it. (BTW who does ceviche with a cream sauce). I had to get a wine refill from the bar. The $45(!) elk we had was cooked to perfection but was only 5 oz and came with fries and 2 unedible stalks of broccoli. Apparently they flash fry the broccoli (no butter, so that’s good), but they don’t blanch it first, so it’s completely raw. So we spent close to $100 for a few bites of elk, fries and some cocktails. The best thing about this place was the belly dancer, she was AMAZING! I’d go back and have wine and just watch her anytime.

This is a hidden gem in angel fire. You must eat here and start with the empanadas. You will not be disappointed – assuming you like great food with wonderful flavors. The service is delightful and the outdoor dining is charming. Even my picky teenage boys found dishes they loved.

I feel like the food was pretty good, but there were a few issues. First off, I didn’t get much for what I paid. I had the carapulcra and it was good. However, we ordered to go and I believe the bowl was the limiting factor. However I also only got TWO yucca fries (which were just a bit overcooked but pretty good – tasted exactly like potato to me) along with a little rice. I would have been starving were it not for the fact that my wife’s order was WAY too spicy for her and so I ate that as well while she rummaged for something else. This brings me to my second point and that is that there was no spiciness warning on the online menu we saw. The last issue was that for a party of 5, with two kids under 12 and a mother-in-law that only ordered an appetizer and it still came out to be over $80.

The food was amazing! The ribeye was tender and the sauce and potatoes were outstanding. You must try their Yucca Fries. The sauce that comes with it is awesome. Amazing experience!
