We had Mike & Jeff’s BBQ cater the Greenville Chamber’s annual Manufacturers Celebration. For more than a dozen years, our menu has always featured some sort of local BBQ. I wish I had known about Mike & Jeff’s sooner! Food was superb and it was service with a smile, from initial order to day of set up. If you are coordinating a corporate event, give them a try!

Mike and Jeff’s is one of the last SC BBQ style restaurants in Greenville, and it’s absolutely perfect. Growing up here, most BBQ places were basically smoke-filled shacks on the side of the road, and there was no better place to eat. Walking into Mike and Jeff’s is like walking back into my childhood here in Greenville. Beyond the nostalgia, their food is excellent, all of their sauces are delicious (if you like truly spicy BBQ sauce, ask for their XXX Sauce, it’s by request only, and it’s spectacular), and their pulled pork and ribs are excellent (the ribs are country style ribs, not baby back), the sides are great, and their cheeseburgers are surprisingly good. Definitely a hidden gem in Greenville, and well worth the trip anytime.

Fantastic BBQ in Greenville from such an unassuming location. I would have never thought the food would have been as good as it was from a first impression of the location but I was blown away. The prices were reasonable and the food was really second to none if you’re a BBQ fan.
The establishment was very clean, the staff was great, always there to refill and ask if they can get you anything.
The only mild complaint is you should make sure you get there early for lunch or carry out, the dining area is quite small.

Got the large rib plate with Mac and cheese and onion rings added a side if sweet potato souffle, husband had Large pulled pork plate with banana pudding and Mac and cheese. The sauces were great but didn’t need them for the pulled pork. Enjoyed the pulled pork 100% better than the ribs. All the sides we’re so amazing. I wanted to try them all! Staff was so friendly and we will be back! Prices were exceptional as well compared to many other BBQ places! After 21 years if them being here, I can’t believe we’re just finding it, but, better late than never!

SOLID BBQ, BUT THE SAUCE IS BOSS
I called in an order for Ribs and Pork and it was waiting on me when I got there. The smoke on the pork was really good. Permeated. However the texture was like its was a day old. The ribs are meaty and juicy but weren’t the freshest either. The sauce tho, I love it. One of the best I’ve had and that took it to another level. I would love to try the plate again when I can get it hot off the smoker.
The atmosphere is great. It’s a no frills BBQ shack on a residential corner with an old school vibe. A hidden gem for sure.

My first time here and what a hidden gem of a restaurant! Delicious Southern BBQ with homemade sides, in an old but quaint building on the west side of Greenville. Fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices…but the food is the main attraction here. I tried the mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad…the latter being my favorite. Many more options and I’ll be back soon to try a few more.

Rib plate, LG bbq sandwich, Mac n cheese, and hushpuppies. All of them are worth a try.

This is the best BBQ in the Upstate! Everything is great. Get extra napkins and plenty of sauce. The ribs and sweet potatoes are awesome. You can smell the smoker from a block away. We even got shown the smoker by Jeff!
