Great ice cream and lots of flavors! The coconut almond fudge was one of our favorites. There’s also a playground outside and some farm animals. And the grocery store and restaurant are right next to this place as well.

The ice cream was DELISH and reasonably priced. They had DAIRY FREE options which was amazing (they’re So Delicious brand ice cream)!! The playground was pretty well shaded and the kids had a blast feeding and petting the animals (bring a few quarters for goat feed!)

When they say this is the Milkhouse at Oregon Dairy, they aren’t kidding. When you order from the outside counter and enjoy your treats outside you can see the dairy from right where you are (and likely smell it too, haha). Do note, the outdoor counter is seasonal and closes during the winter so if enjoying your ice cream outdoors is your thing, plan your visit accordingly. However, definitely come by in the fall during peak fall foliage as you can get some nice views of the dairy in autumn.
The outdoor seating area when I was there was nice and clean and plenty of shade for guests. Other than that, it’s like those old-time ice cream stands you walk right up to the window from outside and order/receive your ice cream.
I rated the food at four stars, but that is likely due to my choice of item being a milkshake made from hand-dipped ice cream more than the quality of the ice cream. The cookies and cream shake I had was really tasty but was a little thin for my preference since it was made from hand-dipped ice cream. But the other items I saw looked really good and they have a nice variety of flavors and treats to go around. I certainly would like to give them another try next summer and try a waffle cone or a sundae.
Again, don’t be discouraged from my choice of dish as the outside counter at the milkhouse is a great experience to enjoy some ice cream during the warmer months with the dairy in view and great scenery.

The reason I love coming to the Oregon dairy is because of the animals. They have too many horses. They have four goats. They have about a dozen rabbits. You can hear all the birds in the trees. It is just a great environment to bring kids and have a fun afternoon. Also, all the ice cream is delicious.

Good comfort food & good selection.
We had a large party and the staff was very polite and helpful as we were there for hours. The ice cream was great with a huge selection. Great views. Large outdoor seating and children’s play area with baby goats

A fun thing to do on a summer evening! We visited the ice cream shop tonight and the children loved the play ground and animals. Such a fun, cute place for children (and adults) to enjoy.

We tried the raspberry vanilla twist in a waffle cone and Java milkshake and both were excellent! It’s actually open until 9pm on Sundays. The petting zoo area, play area and grocery store were a huge plus! Would love to visit again

So stopped by after a walk with my wife dog and kids. The service was terrible. They did not know how to serve. They would give you part of your order 2 scoops and then ten minutes later give you the child scoop. I saw this done for multiple people. All the while 2 people after me got their ice cream before me. Ice Cream was fair at best. Not going back. Was not even that busy.
