This place used to be a five star for me, but since my friend was discriminated against after making a reservation, I will no linger go here. Today I called to make a reservation for three people for a birthday tonight. The woman who answered said what time do you want to come in? I said six or six thirty. She said 6:30pm and I said okay and I gave her my phone number. At the end I told her one of the guests coming was in a wheelchair and I was hoping to sit near the entrance to the hibachi room. The woman then said we could not come tonight because she had a big party of 25 plus people at 5:30pm and that we could no longer come. She only canceled after I mentioned my friend’s wheelchair. I told her what she was doing wasn’t right and that it was illegal actually. This woman and this establishment shouldn’t treat propel this way and I will never go there again. My daughter and I really liked it here but it has been tainted now after this interaction. We have come here many many times. My friend was recently paralyzed a year ago and we used to come here all the time with my daughter and this was going to be the first time we returned all together since my friends accident. I am very upset that this has happened and I am hoping it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

food and service was mediocre. when it came to paying the bill, I handed the server my card and he asked if we could pay cash instead. When i said we didn’t have cash he looked at the other person in my party and asked if they had cash which I found extremely rude and sketchy… Then, when he came back with the receipt, he said he forgot to add the tea, which was water basically, onto the bill. He asked me to add the 4 dollars on to the 20 percent tip. He proceeded to stand over me while i was adding the tip and signing. This was very odd. Because of this I will NEVER COME BACK or support this business. Don’t waste your time

Some of the best sushi I have ever had. The sauces on the sushi bring it to th next level! The ingredients were very fresh. Ordered calamari as an app, it was so-so. Good flavor, a little overcooked and rubbery. Sushi blew us away! Fun atmosphere, decent prices. Will be back for sure!

I want to start off by saying the food was very good and the hibachi chef was funny. When it came time to pay the server asked me to leave a bigger tip.
Due to that incident I will never return. I think it’s distasteful to ask for a bigger tip when the tip and bill was already paid beyond in full.

I honestly dislike leaving bad reviews but if I could give this place zero stars, I would. First of all, we walked in an hour and a half before closing and only ordered sushi and appetizers so we were out in less than 40 minutes. The waitress was rushing us, the restroom smelled so bad I had to cover my nose when I used it and I’m not talking about a bad smell, IT WAS HORRIBLE! The restroom was the first red flag but I decided to give it a chance anyway. We ate and did not feel comfortable leaving a tip but the waitress literally forced us to leave it after we said multiple times we didn’t feel comfortable doing so. We did it anyways and walked out with the biggest disappointment ever but didn’t let that ruin our night. There are other great similar places in Beverly, please don’t waste your time and money here.

Little pricey but great food. They have sunday all day sushi buffet and the sushi was great. We also had mixed seafood which also tasted very good. Highly recommend.

My daughter accidentally ordered from the wrong location yesterday. She was at work, busy, and made a mistake. When she realized what had happened she tried to speak with someone on the phone and tell them the situation and that she would definitely pay for the order even though she could not pick it up (several hours away). She was yelled at, hung up on, sworn at…and could not make the woman on the phone understand that she would gladly pay for the order, but could not pick it up. She tried to call back several times and was met with the rudest encounter of her life.

This was one of my worst restaurant experiences. We had a group of ten from work for Habachi. From the waiter giving us a hard time about separate checks, the waiter not being able to hear over the high noise level and us having to repeat our orders 3-4 time before he got it right, to him ignoring us he never asked if anyone needed more drinks and kept busy sweeping near our table. The food was sub-par at best. Our waiter even told one person that she couldn’t order her meal from the menu but had to order Hibachi. WHAT!! The bathrooms have a sewer smell in them and the toilet I used was installed at a strange angle and didn’t flush. As we were leaving the waiter questioned the amount of the tip that was left, I’ve never seen a waiter question the amount of a tip. The service was bad, the food was bad I highly recommend that you don’t go there, there are plenty of other restaurants in this area. The rudeness of the staff we encountered definitely changed the atmosphere and we just wanted eat, drink and have a good time.
