They have premium wasabi! Try the cold sake Platinum, it pairs perfectly with sushi! We tried the Hollywood Roll and the Fancy Tuna rolls. They were both AMAZING!! Five stars for this place …for service, variety of dishes and rolls, quality of the sushi, and some THE best quality and tasty sashimi I’ve ever had in Georgia!

Tonight I ordered beef fried rice and the lobster tempura roll. My roll surpassed my expectations. It was quite large, flavorful and crunchy after delivery from grub hub. I usually stay on the safe side because I don’t like fishy taste, but I went out on a limb and wasn’t disappointed. Yay. Like most all places around here, I don’t love their fried rice. I like it. It lacks the wow factor you’d get in your rice like say from a hibachi place- and has that steamed rice texture. I don’t know, its just missing something. I do like the little edamames the put it in it! The rice isn’t a deal breaker in the least. Put it this way, I still order it often. I do recommend this restaurant. I’d never had a bad experience as a regular customer

This was great sushi. Didn’t expect to find any authentic sushi at all in this area. Rice was perfect and had good quality fish.

Thoroughly enjoyed great to have awesome culinary sushi in the suburbs. Enjoyed the staff, hours of operation, and ambiance on a Monday night. Tuna tartare was great, as were nigiri, raw roll I had, and seaweed salad…..and cooked roll for my dining mate. Highly recommend. First time there.

It’s great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and unique. At first I was hesitated by their name “French Sushi” Never heard and had the French and Japanese fusion style. The food were delicious and staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. We had two of their appetizers Crispy Calamari and Gyoza which both came out super quickly. Each of us got a roll, one roll called sweet heart, it really has the heat to it watch for those who can’t take any spicy. And we had another Butterfly which is amazing , it has the tempura shrimp inside and crab salad on top. Highly recommend!

I don’t understand why there are so many great reviews…my experience at Mika was terrible. I am not one for writing many reviews…if it’s exceptional, I will take the time to write a good review….if it’s terrible, then I will take the time to say it bc I read reviews on this place and decided to go here based on that. First, the portion was small. $18 for a roll with about 4 pieces. The smell when it hit the table was that fishy smell which I determined was the seaweed wrap. I ordered the Victoria secret roll and it just came out bland. I then custom ordered a roll with ingredients that I like, and still…very bland tasting with a fishy smelling seaweed wrap. I am sorry to say it, but i will never come back. The place is cute as far as decor and it was clean, but the place was empty on a Thursday night at 7pm.

Curiosity of the “French” in the name brought us here. Beautiful platting irl was comparable to all the pics we saw prior. Elly and I had mix take on this place. They have an omakase that you need to reserve ahead of time but also have a menu called omakase that had individual items to order (2pieces) per item. We went and ordered purely on pictures we saw in other posts. Because we didn’t know the names and what they actually were, some of the dishes were very similar to each other. A lot of the sushi type dishes had a vinegar and/or yuzu flavor which I liked but Elly didn’t. If we had better dish understanding, we may have had better ordering selections. I did enjoy the beef tataki which had exact same sauce as the salmon tataki. Also liked the spicy tuna tartar (forgot to take pic) and the Black Cod itself. Delicate Scallops had same bottom base as the cod but different sauces. Everything else was very similar in taste which ended up being a bit too much and boring for us. Again, this may be our fault for ordering similar items. Place was busy dine in and take out. Really wished we were into the rolls which appeared to be very popular. If it was closer to us, I would totally order take out to get a chance to try to fix our misguided ordering choices.

There is some parking right by the restaurant but it does get filled during dinner rush since there are a few different restaurants/stores there. The restaurant is also accessible from the Kroger parking lot.

This was our first time going here. The servers were very friendly and efficient. The place was very clean. The atmosphere was comfortable. The prices for the food were fitting to what you ordered. I ordered sushi and it was the freshest I have ever had. You will definitely not be disappointed with a meal here. They know how to make it the right way here. Their food presentation on the plates was really amazing. I would recommend this place anytime you are in the area if you like sushi. It is also located close to Lake Lanier which is nice.

Pretty good sushi. On the last visit a male employee was yelling at a female employee and it killed the atmosphere for a little bit.
