Mihana just absolutely nailed it. The restaurant itself is quite aesthetically pleasing, modern tones, beautifully decorated without being overly done. The bar was quite spacious, and the seating very comfortable. There was literally no wait with reservation, we were seated within seconds of arriving and the waiters took our drink orders very quickly. The food was well prepared, the sushi was unique, fresh, very tasty and the hibachi with filet mignon was some of the best hibachi I’ve ever eaten. Tim was our server and kudos to him, very friendly and went above and beyond for our experience. This is the best Japanese restaurant in Woodbury and maybe one of the best Japanese restaurants in Long Island.

Absolutely loved my dinner at Mihana! The foie gras with eel on toasted bread was amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The lobster soup was also delicious and full of depth. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, great for a nice evening out. I also noticed they have a private omakase room — definitely coming back to try that next time!

This past Saturday my hubs and I was running errands ️ in Hicksville and looking for a place for lunch! I remember seeing this place open the last time I was over by Jericho Tpke (Woodbury) so figured we would head over to give it a try! First off~ it DID NOT DISAPPOINT . When we walked in we were greeted by a very nice hostess and we were seated in the cool round booth. The inside is SOOO PRETTY. We weren’t sure what we wanted (and we share everything ) so opted to start with the tri tartare (AMAZING!) as an app then we ordered the sashimi lunch special and 2 rolls. The food was plenty AND the rolls big!!! The sashimi lunch came after the rolls and we were pretty much full BUT still kept eating it WAS SO GOOD . Of course in my usual fashion I coupled my Saturday lunch with a Chardonnay (hullo) . The food WAS so good and tasted SO FRESH ! If that wasn’t enough our server recommended the matcha lava cake (or something similar named) that the chef makes in house (or something like that )…ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW! I’m not a big dessert person BUT WOW. I don’t even know what matcha is supposed to taste like …but this was sooo good! DEF GET THIS! In fact~ that we could have easily each had our own. Keeping in mind we were already full . All in all…I rate this 5 stars for an Asian/sushi restaurant. I also saw they have Omakase on Wednesday and Thursday so I DEF know we will be back for that !! Can’t wait!!! Actually may make reservations now for this week . If you are in the area of Syosset, Woodbury or want to take the trip, I definitely RECOMMEND. This place is PRETTY and FOOD DELISH!!!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food. The Calamari was seasoned well, light and crispy served with a unique tater like sauce. Variety of specialty and hand rolls… Which was very fresh. Will definitely be returning soon.

Came here during lunch for a quick bite ordered the bento lunchbox (steak teriyaki, ginger salad, rock shrimp, and vegetable spring roll) food was flavorful, cook to perfection, and presentation was immaculate. The staff was very attentive and help create an upscale atmosphere. Recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you to the Chef, Staff and owners on making it a pleasant experience. Mihana is a brand new restaurant in Woodbury and already feels like a spot worth hanging out at. The vibe is modern but comfortable, the staff are friendly, and even the restrooms are spotless (I really hope it stays this way!)

What stood out most was the attention to detail: they actually use freshly grated real wasabi and perfectly cooked broccoli with the surf and turf; details that are hard to find even in NYC, so I was glad to see them here. Overall, a clean, welcoming place with great Japanese and fusion dishes, and I’m looking forward to coming back.

I came here for regular dining and the food was honestly pretty mid, not the best, and the prices were high for the portion sizes. I decided to give it another try and came back for the $125 omakase, but all I can say is the price does not match the quality. I could get better food and better service elsewhere. Really disappointed. The chef didn’t seem very professional and didn’t come off as experienced, which definitely affected the whole experience. Wouldn’t recommend based on what I had.
