Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood.
In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather.
Now, there are three full-service Miguel’s California Mexican Cocina Restaurants and 19 Miguel’s Jr. fast-food restaurants throughout the Inland Empire and Orange County.
It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day.
Mexican counter-serve chain dishing up burritos, tacos & other classics in a modern space.

Best prices! Excellent food! I always stop here when I am in the area, typically at least once a month. I love the taquito plate. Everything I have tried taste great, and the hot sauces are really good. They recently started offering breakfast, so I am excited to try it. Don’t hesitate to stop here! It is literally such great Mexican food and prices are really affordable.

Great home style Mexican food in a fast food type counter order environment. Very affordable. I got a chorizo breakfast burrito for $8.50. + $1.00 more for cheddar cheese. Delicious.b

The staff is always so friendly. They were having internet connections today and had trouble charging card, but dealt with it in the most professional and efficient manner. I will continue to be a regular here at this location.

My first visit here and it was promising, I had a shredded beef tostada which was good and a churro, I can recommend both.

Long time customer and fan of the “Pops” burrito. Today I had the worst one I’ve ever had. Every piece of carne asada was absolutely inedible. Tough, chewy, and DRENCHED in “sauce”. Not at all like any of the many dozens I’ve had in the past 20 years. When bringing to the worker’s attention, he just blankly stared at me and didn’t utter a single syllable. As if I had not just spoken. I threw it in the trash and vowed never to return to the Huntington Beach location again.

Seriously, the best bean and cheese burrito!!! Sounds simple but its so good. Their pototo and Chile Verde is the next best thing. Love that they created the box concept, chips, guacamole, and a soda for $5 more!

Plenty of food, Traditional taste like you remember
First things first, staff could not have been more nice or helpful. Great attitude. They even brought me the appropriate sauce for my meal. I had the traditional chicken tacos. The shells were fried but not to the point that they were too crispy. The chicken was good. The size of the tacos was at least 30% larger than a taco bell taco.
and yes you should have the red sauce.
Taco combo plate came to $9.69, which seems like a lot for tacos and would normally have cost a star. But given the quality of the food and how friendly they were they deserve the full five stars.

Crispy beef tacos are average and the chips were boring and tasteless. The salsa verde was like green water with seeds in it. La Victoria jarred salsa verde is better. Been here a few times but unfortunately the food is just not worth coming back for.

I normally only give Miguel’s a great review but I ordered 2 shredded beef tacos through the drive thru on Friday. I was home within 7 minutes and the taco shells were mushy. This is the 3rd out of 4 times where the shells were so soft. Very disappointed.

The tacos are great, the burritos are pretty good, but when they are super messy and not wrapped correctly its a huge hassle. You end up having to basically dump it all in a bowl and eat with a fork….. not the reason you order a burrito. I was pretty disapointed with the 2 burritos I purchased for my client yesterday, impossible to hold and eat. When unwrapped beans and salsa where all over.
On the plus side their horchata is really good.
