Just stopped in real quick on my lunch break to try this place out for the first time. I ordered three carne asada tacos and a bottle of soda (which dame out to $18.50!) Service itself was decent and fast, but when I asked for some green sauce when you handed me the bag he said that he put green and red in their so I thought that was cool and said thank you. I got back to the job site to eat, and when I open it up there is A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT of green and red salsa ALREADY ON the tacos, along with a mountain of pico de gallo. So much that most of the tacos were cold and completely soggy and way too spicy for my taste. I’ve never been to a place where they put red AND green on, or they didn’t at least tell you what they were putting on their to make sure it’s ok. So I definitely ain’t going back there. Waste of money…

I love this place. The fellas inside are genuinely amazing people and cooks. Never had a bad meal here. They are always coming up with new sauces and salsa too! I cannot recommend this more! Get down here and give them a try!

I love their tacos! I do the two tacos with chips and queso. My fav is carne and pastor with their pineapple salsa! I’ve had the Sonoran dog also and it’s just as good!

Had the Carne Asada tacos they were delicious. The flour tortillas were soft and just right for thickness. The meat was tender and cut to the right size pieces. Prices were pretty good. 4 stars for the single item menu. Every had to be purchased singlely. No combo plates. Rice was a single item Beans single item etc. This makes it if you buy 3 tacos rice and beans and a drink into a very big bill. The place is set up very well in the small area they occupy. The staff were very nice and brought our food to the table when it was ready!

We have come to really enjoy Midnight Taco, although be sure to check the hours, only the original food truck is open that late. It’s a pretty small place with a big shared table and a few smaller ones. They do a good job with the Al Pastor, one of our favorites. I prefer it on corn but my wife likes the flour tortillas. Everything comes with guacamole on it some be sure to check that if you don’t like it. The Sonoran dog is well done with a super soft bun but sometimes a little chewy. It’s messy and delicious. We tried the chips and salsa and are not a fan, salsa was like an enchilada sauce flavor but salsa texture. The nachos were nothing to write home about, classic school carnival food. We keep coming back for the tacos and dogs.

Qaint taqueria full of food packed with amazing flavors! One of the best carne asadas around! This is a must try! No soda machines so be prepared to pick from an array of canned/bottled drinks, however, you can never go wrong with pairing some great tacos with Jarritos!

We were in the Gilbert area and noticed the “Best Carne Asada” sign in front of a big chain-looking taco place and thought, yeah right. However, we were in the moment and thought we’d try a taco just in case there was some truth to this claim. Little did we know that Midnight Taco was originally a food truck (for which I have a lot more respect). WOW! The claim wasn’t a boast, it was a challenge for all other taco joints! The carne Asada was full of flavor and tasted like a great steak, which cut through the other delicious toppings. The Al Pastor taco was just as impressive, full of spices and topped with guac and sprinkled with fresh mild cilantro. We had to try more and got the chicken taco, which was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Try the Carne with a flour tortilla and the Chicken/Al Pastor with the corn tortilla. Amazingly good. Nice Job Midnight Taco!

Midnight taco is hands down my new favourite taco spot! I stumbled upon it this past Friday and went again today. When I went on Friday I didn’t have much expectation just figured I would get a decent taco hopefully. When I got my al pastor taco and my Carne asada burrito, I was in true uninhibited shock and awe!! It was the best flavor and amazing ingredients that were clearly homemade, minus the tortillas. I spoke with the manager, Juan, to confirm that it’s all homemade. Also you cannot go wrong with any choice of salsa, they are all amazing! Rich in flavor and the perfect amount of heat in the Serrano (hot) salsa. I would truly say my largest critique would be the cilantro, in the Carne asada taco, to be exact. It could be more finely chopped at the stems. Other than that the meat itself has a delicious smoky flavor that makes you feel like you just left a cookout! The service is amazing. The staff is so polite, helpful, professional and positive. I love a place with great customer service!! Thank you Juan for making today’s experience wonderful and answering my questions and truly you could not regret visiting Midnight Taco!!! Almost forgot they do have a corn tortilla option as well for their tacos! They’re regularly made with flour tortillas so be sure to ask if you’re gluten sensitive!
