First time here. I got the burger and it was fire. Bun was nice and lightly toasted patty was cooked perfect. Definitely would come back for a late night
Fries were a seasoned well too definitely ask for extra seasoning, they give you a nice portion too.

Does not speak a single word of english!! Not even enough to understand what is being ordered or know what a spoon is (legit). The food made my entire family horrifyingly sick. Abhorrent and ghastly amount of spice when the only thing we said multiple times is no spice. Stipped him in the middle of pouring it all over and it was too late. Low sanitary score (90). No gloves cooking, see pic. 80$ for 5 plates, and got them wrong. Prices like a sit down restaurant but at a gas station. Disgusting and needs be shut down in every way. Fake or false ratings likely. I have never wanted to leave a worse rating. Your a dumb person if you wat here, consider yourself warned.

I have ordered Falafel over Rice and chicken shawarma with fries. The little falafels were perfectly cooked and delicious. It is served over yellow seasoned rice that was aromatic and flavorful. The chicken shawarma was fantastic with the well marinated juicy chicken wrapped in fresh pita bread. This was different and better than the conventional halal cart.

We came to NC from Kentucky, struggled to find a good place to get takeout food but came across this place, the quality service and food really backed the positive reviews we saw before choosing this place to eat.
The food was fresh and made from scratch, we got a cheeseburger with large fries and chicken over rice, both were very fresh and very tasteful and made with love.
We ate 30 minutes after getting the food and it was still fresh.
10/10.

I’m always on the lookout for new Halal food trucks and we enjoy halal food very much and after reading all these good reviews about Midnight Grills I decided to visit him with family and drove 60 miles to get there but, I’ll be honest food was not up to our expectations, we bought 2 mix plates, a chicken plate and a chicken Kabab plate and were very excited, but there is no other way to say it but food was horrible.
Very minimal amount of meat on all 4 plates, chicken kababs were not fully cooked, rice looks and tasted terrible and he sprinkled curry powder on the top which totally doesn’t make any sense.
I’ll give him 2 stars because the guy seems very sweet with good customer service.

I’m a New Yorker who has been looking for a good halal spot around this area ever since I moved down here. I love a good combo over rice with extra white sauce but iykyk some spots in NY have some questionable lamb cuts that’ll often make me choose chicken over rice. But this place… man oh man the mix over rice is an absolute must the lamb is so good the chicken is delicious. On top of good food the Gentleman behind the counter has some of the best energy people can have. Seeing his smile makes my day, He deserves the recognition more than anything.

These guys always take great care of me. When I’m working security around Charlotte, they always make sure I’m fed & taken care of. It’s nearly a nightly spot for me at this point. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone and everyone! And the food is ridiculously good. Chicken over Rice always!

The food taste is not good. The hamburger was very tough and poor quality beef. The wrap was thin and had very little contents. The price for a burger and wrap was $20 with no fries or drink. The service was ok but the food was not worth the price point. I would try them again but will order something different.

Sal is the sweetest and makes the best food! Blows halal cart out of the water. Everything has amazing flavor. He runs it all by himself and puts the best care into his craft. The falafel is INSANE. Definitely worth the visit!
UPDATE: Demolished my plate. The rice is unbelievably flavorful, the salad has everything you could want from it taste/ingredient/texture-wise, I’ve never had falafel that perfect and I’ve had A LOT of falafel in my life, every single sauce was perfect. No weird tastes/textures that you sometimes get from other carts. Impeccably clean truck. 1000/10
