Found this nice restaurant serving wood-fired pizza, and I really enjoyed it. The pizza had a perfectly crunchy crust, and the flavors were great. The bruschetta was also very good-especially the burrata, which was fresh and delicious. The cocktail I tried was nice as well.
Overall, it was a great experience with good food, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped in while in Gainesville and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor with a perfectly crispy crust. Friendly staff, quick service, and a great local vibe. Definitely a solid spot for pizza!

We came here on 10/18/25 before taking the bus to the gator game because of a recommendation from a friend. Service was slow at first but after that was completely spot on. We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza (pictured) and 2 bloody Marie’s. Our server made the drinks herself and they were perfect. The pizza? Soooo fresh and tasty. You can see the process of the pizzas being made and I really like that. Perfect crest and….well….it was great.
If I had 1 critique I wish the owner didnt feel the need to put lgbtq friendly. That should be a given. And really it should be known that its good to all of its customers, without the need to feel like they have to mention 1 specific group.

We placed a to-go order to pick up as we were passing through town. Ordering was super easy, and our food was ready when we got there. It was very cool inside, so I wished we had time to stay and eat there. The pizza was delicious! Highly recommend stopping there.

Was on town and decided to come back to Medici as we had visited one time previously. Our server Renzo was fabulous! Very attentive but not overly so. Hubby and I shared a gluten free Margherita pizza and a Medici salad and Burrata Caprese. If we lived nearby we would visit often!!! Beautiful atmosphere..you can watch them making the pizza in their pizza ovens. I asked if the gluten free pizza dough was made in house and Renzo told me about the gluten free flour they used ! Thank you! We will be back when we are in town.

This restaurant was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The pizza was so burnt it was practically inedible — my lips and teeth literally turned black from the char. We wanted to sit on the patio, but every single table was disgustingly dirty. The server clearly saw me trying to clean a table myself and didn’t offer a single napkin or make any effort to help.
The service was downright terrible. The staff seemed completely untrained and uninterested in taking care of their customers or maintaining even basic cleanliness. It’s shocking that a restaurant would allow guests to sit in such unsanitary conditions.
Between the burnt food, filthy tables, and careless service, this was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they seriously retrain their staff and learn what customer service actually means.

Attended drag brunch here with a group of friends. We all had a great time. Food was good, great atmosphere, service was a little sketchy, but it was really busy. The waitress couldn’t get all the tickets straightened out at the end… But I do recommend this place.
