This is the perfect hidden food place that locals go to. Good food, good prices and the service is practically non existent. Meaning, it’s 99% take out. There is a small table outside but that’s why it’s cool. No nonsense food at a good price. I highly recommend the Bento #1, the Katsu and the fried chicken.

Went here as overflow for young BBQ. Ordered the fried chicken plate. Delicious. Good portions and good rice and macaroni salad. This is a great plate lunch place.

Good prices and a large variety of plate lunches. I recommend the mixed BBQ, you definitely get some bang for your buck. I have seen the garlic chicken mentioned, but when I got it, it was unnecessarily hard despite having good flavor.

They will charge you 85 cents extra if you use a credit card, not 3% as it state on the door. The chicken katsu was cooked in old oil so it tasted like fish. I don’t eat fish, so I couldn’t eat this. Never coming back and everyone should avoid this place. I knew I should have just go to ohmygrill that is close by instead.

Great breakfast deals and reasonably priced bentos and plate lunches. Love their cheap burgers and sandwiches. Lots of free parking, but dine-in is currently unavailable.

This place is a great little family run take-out plate lunch place. The food is great and the prices are ridiculously amazing.
I haven’t seen plate lunch prices like this in like 10-15 years. Their regular plates are cheaper than most other places’ MINI plates. And again, the food tastes great. Can’t even think of another restaurant that even comes close to these guys as far as quality and value.
My family randomly stumbled upon it a couple months ago and now we come here whenever we are in the area. Awesome place to eat.

One of the best fried chicken in Honolulu. Thighs are butterflied open for best seasoning every single bite. Reasonable price. Our go to place for fried chicken when in the Aiea area. Also, reasonable price.
