The atmosphere was calm, upscale, and very inviting. Our waitress was top-notch—she gave excellent recommendations, which we truly appreciated since we’re from out of town. Every suggestion she made was spot-on. I ordered the lasagna with short braised ribs, and it was absolutely delicious—easily one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Honestly, it tasted like it was made in Italy. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. If you’re looking for authentic pasta and a wonderful dining experience, this is the place to go!

3 of the 4 dishes were excellent. One was a bit off. Best dish was the cacio e pepe gnocchi. The short rib lasagna was mushy on top and hard on the bottom. Great wines. Superb service.

The restaurant is easy to find and has both indoor and outdoor seating options, menu is a bit small and little options for vegetarians. The seafood dishes were great though, the salmon dish was perfectly cooked and laying on a bed of cooked white beans, slightly different texture and different mix with salmon, very fulfilling and delicious. Cod fish was good on a bed of wheat, it did look like risotto but with a mild flavor. The appetizers were the cherry on top for our meal. The calamari dish was very tasty, crispy and citrusy, the sauce was very light and tangy and the mix was really good. Ricotta salad was also good but it did come with ham although in the menu it doesn’t include ham in description, I liked the oranges pieces in the salad as it made it super refreshing.

I never write reviews but feel like I have to for mida. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. Every time I have gone the servers, bar tenders and front of house have all been amazing. It’s become a tradition to celebrate my best friends birthday there simply because she loves the arancini so much. The food and service is amazing for a price that won’t leave you bankrupt. I love mida and will continuing going until the day I die.

The best part of MIDA is probably the appetizers honestly. The croquettes were great and the pesto was delicious. The pizza is good, but being from CT, I’ve had better. The short ribs were also fantastic, but all the pastas were lacking flavor and one of them was a little overcooked.

Stopped in on a whim since it was close to where we were staying. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was good but nothing memorable. Music a bit loud at times for easy conversation. Overall, not a bad experience, just didn’t feel worth the price.

This restaurant is BEAUTIFUL! Love the level of details here. We came for brunch and had a reservation. Service was phenomenal. I must return for dinner. Bar is well stocked and cocktails are great. The pasta is definitely handmade and delicious. I prefer gnocchi in heavy bolognese sauce, but the rich cacio e pepe was a hit and perfect for brunch. French toast and pancakes were great. All the pizzas looked fire. That biscuit…amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Worth a visit or three!

I’ve been going to MIDA since they first opened at their original location on Tremont Street, and I absolutely love it. I may be a little biased since I worked there when they first opened, but it has been truly special to watch MIDA grow into new spaces while still honoring what made it so great from the beginning. They’ve maintained original menu favorites while introducing thoughtful seasonal updates, creative specials, and an excellent wine program.
The service is always impeccable. ALLY, the General Manager at the Fenway location, is outstanding. She has trained many team members across MIDA locations, and it absolutely shows. I couldn’t ask for a better point of contact—she is kind, generous, and always takes incredible care of my friends and me.
Last night, our server Michaela was wonderful—sweet, attentive, prompt with timing, and knowledgeable about wine. She made the experience feel seamless and welcoming.
The food, as always, was perfect. I had the gnocchi (my go-to). Friends shared the mussels and ensalada mista, while others ordered the lasagna, bolognese, and pappardelle—everything was excellent. We finished with an affogato and enjoyed a beautiful Italian sparkling Sangiovese rosé that paired beautifully with the meal.
I highly recommend MIDA, especially the locations where Ally’s personal touch is present. Exceptional food, service, and care every time.

I chose to come to MIDA for their Dine Out Boston menu and I’m pleasantly surprised. The Prosciutto e Melone paired very nicely together. The flavors were on point and the staff was very nice. I’d come again!

Pretty shocked this has the rating it does. The food was really disappointing. The arancini and short rib lasagna were good. Memorable? No. But the carbonara? Truly awful. It is not carbonara first of all. It’s creamy pasta with way too much garlic, a load of chives, and very un fresh tasting shrimp. We had two bites and couldn’t finish it. The meatballs were fine but lacked flavor.
I don’t know if it was just an off night or what because this place is supposed to be good, but wow was I disappointed.
