I was in charge of booking the end of year party for my school. Loretta was so helpful and accommodating. Their upstairs room and patio are perfect for a party. The food was delicious. This may have been the 1st year I didn’t hear any complaints. We had salmon, steak, pesto pasta, and roasted potatoes. From what I tasted, everything was cooked to perfection. I’m so upset I left the leftovers. George handled almost 70 teachers and their need for cocktails on a Friday like a pro. Rebecca was so helpful. she made sure everything went smoothly and put up with my need to dance. After we left upstairs, it was time to go to the main bar. That’s when we stayed until the dj started at 10 and continued to have a lot of fun. I can not say enough about this entire business and staff. ❤️ I wish had better pictures of the space I was having too much fun.

I really like this bar/restaurant. It is big and good mix of a typical sport’s bar and family restaurant. Everyone feels welcome there. My teenage son goes there with a group of friends and they always treated nice. I absolutely love their veggie burger. It s the best veggie burger I ever had, seriously. The prices are very decent and service is good, they have plenty of staff. Besides bar food they have some fancy salads, that I haven’t tried yet, but sound very intriguing.

We rented the upstairs room at Mickey Spillanes for my 60th birthday. The room is perfect. There’s a great bar and also a patio area. We had a small area for dancing as well. Everything that I have read about Loretta is true. She handled everything. She answered all my questions in the weeks before the party. The night of the party she tended bar and made sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious. We had buffet with steak tips, chicken franchaise and penne vodka. The salad, potato’s and vegetables were also great. Appetizers were also great, shrimp, mini hot dogs and potstickers. They also served a fruit platter and we brought the cake and cookies. It was such a perfect night. I highly recommend Mickey Spillanes for a party!

We started planning for our wedding celebration since the beginning of the year. I saw the pics of the private room online but seeing it in person is way better! It was exactly what we wanted! We booked immediately & didn’t look any further! Indoor/Outdoor space, bar, restrooms for our guests. The outdoor patio was our favorite! We met Loretta & she was incredible! Answered every question, made suggestions & I’m so glad we listened! Our guests loved the private room! The service was incredible! They constantly checked in to make sure we were happy! I had some personal decor & Loretta & her team took care of it exactly how I wanted! We’re forever grateful & even thinking to make up an event just so we can have it there! Hehe!

I had my daughters Bridal Shower Brunch upstairs in the private room. It was perfect. Loretta is amazing and made the day very special for all of us.The service and food and hospitality was outstanding from start to finish. Loretta is an asset to Mickey Spillanes. Average is probably the best way to describe this place. Nothing negative to say, but certainly nothing exceptional either. Pretty good selection of beers on tap, and the food was okay. Service was friendly if a bit slow. Don’t know that I’d ever choose to return, but if friends suggested stopping in, I wouldn’t be opposed.

Terrible experience. One of my guests ordered the steak special and a Caesar salad to start. He finally received when the dinners arrived a Caesar salad with steak on top – despite having asked server where his Cesar salad appetizer was while others ate their appetizer. He was told to keep it
When the steak dinner finally came, steak was rare barely cooked – not medium. Steak sent back and came back severely overcooked. He was not able to eat.
When the check came, everything including the main course Caesar salad and the uneaten steak dinner was on invoice.
Ordered club soda and it was refilled with plain water by the server who offered to fill it up.
No apologies, nothing. Zero customer service.
Sunday evening at 8:45pm.
