Everything was perfect, delicious, and exactly what we were hoping for. Lovely ambiance, great service and delicious food. We had lobster/crab/shrimp stuffed pasta, veal masala and cannoli. Not pictured, cheesy garlic bread that had a magical texture and perfect taste.

We arrived on a Tuesday night at 5pm- were just driving by but its my birthday so we decided to stop. The aromas wafting in the parking lot lured us in!! But also the parking lot was PACKED so we thought ‘good sign!!’ But wondered if there would be a wait. Nope. Seated immediately and served quickly with a high degree of friendliness and professionalism. Kelly our server was amazing. Service ‘like it used to be’! I ordered the shrimp and scallop fettuccine Alfredo- kelly also recommended the arrabiatta sauce with my Shrimp and Scallop pasta dish, but i opted for alfredo asuce but got some arrabiatta on the side- AMAZING! Slightly sweet, just right spice and creamy…! So delicious i mixed it right in and ate everything on the plate! The scallops were perfectly done- and the shrimp too was tender and done just right. You know the chefs are Italian and know what they are doing when the garlic is sliced so thin with a razor- like in Goodfellas!! Hubby got cheese ravioli with italian sausage. The sausage had sweet fennel and the marinara was very balanced and well developed. The salads that came with were also high quality with cherry tomatoes red onion shaved carrots and romaine- extra attention was made on that which we appreciate. Overall, a very delicious meal, perfect service, right on time, not rushed at all- and not delayed even with a large table of 20 rihht next to us. Very nice meal- thanks for making my birthday so great!

Vicky (apologies if name spelled incorrectly) is a patient and on top of it waitress. She made sure all food entries came out within a reasonable time and with a delightful presentation.

I cannot remmond enough, if you like seafood and vodka sauce, Cappellacci Della Nonna. I haven’t had a dish like this before, and I will be coming back for more. Their food is also portable and holds well in the fridge.

We have ordered take out pizza from Michaels. It has always been good. They do a good job with balancing the right amount of all the ingredients, and you can tell they pay attention to the details.

This was our first time eating inside. We came on a Friday night, around 5:30. We couldn’t make reservations (they only do reservations for parties larger than four). We were surprised that we were able to get a table right away. The inside is quite spacious (bigger than it looks). It was noisy inside, but you could still have a reasonable conversation.
There are plenty of tables for different size groups. Our service did a great job the entire evening.

We got settled in right away, with waters and menus. We decided that we would order our Fried Calamari appetizer right away, along with our drinks. The cocktails came out in short order and were a good pour.

We then ordered a mix of different entrees including: Italian Salad with Blackened Salmon, Fish Fry, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Capellini Pomodoro. While we waited we were also served both Garlic and Italian Bread. I would characterize the food as “good” but not great. The Garlic Bread tasted a little “off”. We all felt that it has a strong, almost sweet/musty garlic flavor. Normally we would have eaten all the bread and asked for more, but there was leftover. The calamari was good, the breading was light, and the meat not overly chewy. However, it was a little soggy, and could have benefited from being cooked longer. The Blackened Salmon I had was very good. Had great flavor, good portion size, it was hot, and well presented. The Capellini was good, it’s angel hair pasta al dente, and the chicken was tender, with excellent flavor. The Fish Fry was overcooked to the point of being tough. My mother ate very little of it.

We were full, so we had some of the leftovers boxed up. No dessert for us this time.

So the food we got was a mix of good and bad. Not sure we would dine in again. Maybe just stick to the take out pizza.

Always, always perfection!
Tonight I started with a delicious negroni (thanks Chris). Then I ordered the french onion soup and the calamari with vodka sauce, which also came with a salad. A lot of food for me so, I have leftovers for tomorrow! I eat at the bar so there’s a lot of good conversation going on, and a great place to meet the locals. You can always count on wonderful italian food at michaels!

Ultimately I do not like leaving bad reviews about a restaurant, and have left very few in my day. However, this pizza I received from this establishment has made me post due to the lack of taste, color, and quality that I have ever experienced. The pizza was paper thin and looked like it was left overs at the local gas station. Also, the green peppers that were placed on this pizza was smaller than the size of a pin needle. I hope it was an “off day” for the restaurant because charging $26 for this isn’t acceptable. More than likely I won’t be ordering from this location again.

I had the Cappellacci Della Nonna and he had the Goat Cheese Ravioli. Both were so delicious! We had the Tartufo for dessert. So yummy. Chris our waiter was very attentive.

My husband and I went to dinner here last weekend. The bruschetta and French onion soup were amazing, but our entrees were nothing to write home about. He ordered the ravioli (8 pieces) and it was $24 which seems a little steep. If we didn’t get the bruschetta and a side salad he would have still been hungry. I got the penne with asparagus and the asparagus looked like it came out of a can and the sauce my pasta was in was just garlicky water. Our server was nice but I don’t think it’s worth going back, especially as it came out to $104 with tip. 🙁

What a wonderful old school Italian eatery. Plenty of ambiance along with extensive menu selections. The food was exceptional at reasonable prices. Definitely will make this a regular stop.
