I truly enjoy this establishment and typically visit for lunch at least once a week. I have rated it four stars because on one occasion when I ordered for pick-up, I noticed a significantly smaller portion of seafood in the rolls, and one of the rolls was exceptionally small. Had that been my initial experience, I likely would not have returned. Therefore, I would recommend dining in to experience the full quality of their offerings over the take-out option.

We honestly didn’t expect to eat a lobster roll in San Diego. I was so elated to stumble across this place on 3/23/25 while on a weekend jaunt with my daughter, Kaylah and her friend, Sergio.

The restaurant is small and clean. Limited seating inside. However, there is additional seating outside.

We placed our order and paid up front and then were served our food. We decided to eat outside under the sun. It was a beautiful day.

It had been awhile since I had eaten Lobster roll. My daughter and I ordered the Classic Lobster roll $21. She had a side of Lobster bisque. I had a side of coleslaw. We both really enjoyed it. It was flavorful and delicious! Sergio got the Junior Sampler: Crab roll and Lobster roll $21 which he enjoyed as well. The prices were reasonable. Service was great.

We would definitely return when back in San Diego!

We had three different rolls. Shrimp, crab and Lobster. The bread and seafood were good but whoever prepared them used way too much seasoning salt.

Got the Nor’easter (comes with 2 sides) + the Soup Flight for 2 of us to split. Fun way to try most of the menu at once. My fav was lobster roll + clam chowder. Other person liked lobster roll + lobster bisque best. We’ll be back!

We are locals and came here for my birthday lunch. The shrimp was literally frozen and cold. Quality of food for the price not worth it. The double lobster sandwich was the same as regular.the person at register was very nice. Otherwise I would give 0.

The best lobster rolls in Coronado!!! I also really loved the crab roll, but you can skip the shrimp roll. I ordered the kids menu and it was perfect to try different rolls and a clam chowder.

Stopped by Lobster West Coronado and ordered the Nor’easter (lobster, crab, and shrimp). Absolutely exceeded expectations! The roll itself was fantastic—crispy on the outside, soft and buttery inside without being greasy. The highlight for me was the crab roll—sweet, fresh, and easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Portion was just right, flavors were spot on, and the price was more than fair. A must visit in Coronado!
