My friend and I went to Bethel for a conference last year and again this year.
The Bethel Diner was across the street from the hotel, we had to try it.
What a pleasant surprise! The owners and all of the staff were excellent and the food was scrumptious. I can’t even describe how delicious the deserts were…like we needed it after eating only part of the very generous portion of our meals! They also serve ! We were so impressed that we went for breakfast each day while we were there and got take out lunches and went back for dinner each night!
I would definitely recommend this wonderful Diner! A word of caution..if you plan on going for breakfast better get there early!!! A line begins forming very early and, even though they are very efficient. You will end up waiting! It’s definitely worth it though. The food and the prices are unbelievable

The service has always been exceptional. Never once had a complaint. The food is splendid, and the atmosphere is comforting.
Today we laughed and sang together hits from John Mellancamp and Jim Croce.

Good evening Google Family. I decided to take out tonight. I am exhausted and just wanted to eat in my room. I found this place on Google. It isn’t far from the Best Western. I wanted to go someplace that was walking distance even though I did not walk. I love diners and I am so happy that I decided to come here. They do have take out after I asked. I was given the appetizer menu as well as the regular menu. I decided on the broiled mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat. I absolutely love mushrooms!!! I wanted something not heavy, since I have been eating well these three days and eating more than I normally eat at home. I have certainly splurged on my eating. That is definitely going to change, since I am heading home tomorrow. Boo Hoo!! I am enjoying myself and don’t wish to leave. Reality sets in tomorrow. My server was congenial and I gave her a nice, $5.00 tip. The other young lady gave me water while I waited and I thought that was super nice!! I enjoyed my food and ate it in the room. They had a giant watermelon on display for people to see. I saw people here that are also staying at the Best Western. A Good experience here tonight. I hope to return again in the future. This has become my favorite diner! I love the chicken marsala and I’ve also tried the pasta ala dina. I enjoyed the roast beef, tasty gravy. They have great lentil soup as well. Service is always friendly and attentive.

I ordered a burger brunch special. The burger was beyond well done and so dry. I usually believe in daily special menu as being the freshest choices on the menu when I’m looking at an extensive menu like a diner but ugh this was a bad choice

Gem of a find! Food was exceptionally well prepared, portion sizes shocked us and the prices were very reasonable! Our service was very friendly, prompt and attentive. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner break during a long road trip! Thanks Stony Hill Diner for an excellent job!

One person got a turkey sandwich which she liked. Another person got a burger which was big but ate the whole thing.
I got meatloaf and mashed potatoes on a previous visit. Very good.
Staff was very attentive, friendly and efficient. A very relaxed atmosphere. Casual setting. Lots of 50s era decorations.

Excellent service. Very attentive. Food is great. Philly steak omelet is my go to here. Monte Cristo french toast is flavorful. Plain french toast is also great. They were always there to refill our coffee when we were low. Our waitress was very friendly. Portions are big so bring an appetite.

We have been stopping at Stoney Hill Diner for over 20-years. The food; breakfast, lunch, and dinner are always delicious. My favorite is Eggs Benedict with their world famous breakfast potatoes. The staff is always friendly and they remember us even though we only stop there going to and from visiting family.
