Great pizza place with an awesome staff! I ordered their large Bianca on a Friday night, and thanks to the hardworking crew it was out of the oven in no time! The girl working the lobby was very sweet and helpful as well. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting CB!

Had to order online because they’re not doing dine in. Wait time was 45 minutes, said I’d get an email when it was ready. An hour in, I felt like a little simp refreshing my email over and over again. Eventually, after an hour and a half our grumbling stomachs beckoned and we decided to be brave and inquisitive. The pizza was indeed ready and we were ready to forgive the technology issues– the pizza smelled great and the person behind the counter was nice. You might imagine our distraught upon opening the box to a cold, uncut circle. When you order a pizza, I feel like it’s not unreasonable to expect it in slices– or portioned in any way?? Unfortunately we didn’t make this discovery until comfortably seated on the beach. Had to rip it apart with our bare hands because we were so starving after waiting an hour hand a half and didn’t want the hassle of going back and asking for it fixed.
2 stars instead of one star because it would’ve been FIRE had it been warm and cut in the slightest. Crust was good and seemed homemade. If you do order here, don’t rely on an email and make sure your pizza is cut! Best of luck.

Oh my… That’s a pie!!!
While visiting Carolina Beach from the Raleigh area, I found Michelangelo’s here at the beach.
Mind you, there are a few places here… some sell “slices” of pre-made cold pizza that they warm to order there on the boardwalk. Some others offer dine in / take-out options. But I felt fortunate to find something familiar that we might enjoy.
AND WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!
It was late afternoon, a holiday weekend, and the beach and boardwalk were packed. I REALLY WANTED PIZZA. So, I looked at what was close to our Hotel (not wanting to lose my spot in the parking deck) and took a walk. I stopped in, but hard passed on the cold pizza that was stacked up, made who knows how long ago, and journeyed down about 5 minutes just behind the Farris Wheel to find pizza that I’ve been eating in Cary and Holly Springs since the early 2000s
Here’s the kicker… the sign on the door said, “Pick up orders only.” Not realizing what that really meant, I walk in and ask to place an order. The young lady says, “Im so sorry… we’re so busy with call-in and online orders stacked up that it will be over an hour before you would get your pizza.”
A moment passed, and just as I was about to turn and walk out, because they were SLAMMED, Oven conveyers churning, dough spinning, phones ringing, customers popping in for pickups… It was crazy! She says, “Hold on, what did you want?”
I said just a medium pie, half mushroom. Let me tell you. In less than 10 minutes, I had a fresh, hot, delicious pie that was steaming in the box as I walked back to our room. People we’re staring. Perhaps because of the steam or my smile or the bounce in my step, but regardless, nothing beats hot pizza and ice cold beer as the sun starts to set in the afternoon sky.
Thanks so much for making my afternoon… YOU ALL ARE AMAZING!!! I can’t wait to see you guys again.

Great food and great staff. So many hard workers young adults! Coming from someone who’s worked in pizza the way they’re able to make the food so quick and tasty with how busy it is, is pretty impressive. Best pizza you can get in Carolina Beach.

We dined here our first night at the beach. We ordered takeout and had to call to place the order as the online ordering wasn’t allowing us to pay. The lady on the phone was very polite and read back the order to us after we ordered. We ordered large thin cheese, 2 garlic knots, and a side of ranch dressing. Our total came to $23.25 before the tip. The side of the ranch was .75c and you pay per garlic knot. The pizza wasn’t the best at all. I wouldn’t recommend this to someone else to try. We got back to where we were staying and the pizza wasn’t even warm. The garlic knots were very warm so I think the pizza was made already and sat there waiting for the garlic knots. Their garlic knots aren’t traditional garlic knots. They are bigger biscuits and do not come with the garlic butter that you’d normally get on garlic knots. Overall, the food was ok. If the pizza were actually warm then the rating may be a little better.

For beach pizza – this place is really good. Pepperoni, cheese, and chicken bacon ranch were all hot, fresh, and tasty. The sauce is really good and doesn’t over power. We had another pizza place earlier in the week and this was much better. The staff were all very nice and working hard! The price was very fair. The crust is thin and has a nice chew. Yes, I had to try a bite before I rated!
Quoted 45 for pick up and was closer to an hour. FYI – sign on the counter said they could not accept dine in orders after 5pm today. Inside was warm, as expected. Carry out is the way to go here.

We first walked in to amazing smell of fresh cooked garlic knots. The pizza and the knots were wondrous. The young lady behind the counter was doing the work of three people. She was friendly and did a fabulous job. Will definitely return!!

The Italian sandwich was absolutely delicious and perfectly refreshing for the hot weather! The people were super sweet and the pizza was the perfect blend of simple but flavorful. The garlic knots were soft and warm but had just the right amount of crunch on the outside. The atmosphere was super chill and comfortable, just right for a nice bite in between time at the beach.

GLUTEN FREE option available! We got a pepperoni mushroom GF pizza and it was delicious. The crust didn’t taste like cardboard and wasn’t a hard cracker either.
