I finally made the journey to what everyone is calling the best authentic Mexican food in Miami, and I completely understand the high praise. Stepping inside, the place felt like a hidden gem—a cute, small spot with a vibrant and colorful atmosphere that immediately felt welcoming. I went during a slower lunch hour, and the service was immediately attentive and friendly.
The menu was surprisingly big, but I started with the homemade guacamole and chips, which were incredibly fresh. For the main course, I tried the famous birria tacos and a side of the Mexican rice—hands down, the best rice I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Everything was bursting with fresh, bold flavor, proving why the food takes a little time to arrive.
A big plus is the attention to detail regarding dietary needs. I was impressed by how accommodating they were with modifications, like easily offering a pan-fried option for my sopes. They also have great, clearly labeled options, making it easy to recommend to my vegetarian friends.
The best part? It’s genuinely inexpensive for Miami, offering incredible value without breaking the bank. Despite the somewhat tricky, limited parking situation, this spot is absolutely worth the effort. I’m already planning my next trip back, maybe for the Wednesday taco specials! This is definitely going to be my new regular spot.

Authentic restaurant with good food presentations but SLOW. I received and ate my dish before the others at my table had their food brought out from the kitchen. Not much waitress attention. Points for the fresh guacamole that had great flavor.

The food was very good: tacos, beans, tortillas, guacamole, and cheese. The fish is just good. The server was not pending us after serving the food, but this was fast. There is music all the time, including Mexican songs. Really not bad.
It is not easy to get to the restaurant.
