REAL. FOOD.!!! HUGE. FOOD.!!! If you are looking for REAL Mexican Food in a REAL, LOCAL, NON-CORP Mexican Restaurant this is the absolute best! Ignore the low key building exterior, ignore the severely high traffic concrete floors… Step inside, and smell the SABOR… while your eyes soak up the Latina DECORACIONES!

I’ve always gone through the drive-thru, takes a little longer than I’d like but boy is it worth it! Food has the best taste to it vs the other “authentic Mexican food” places that practically taste the same that just has different names, you know those ooooo places. Ricco Burrito has a great menu to choose from and not even to mention the caldos (soups) now they are too good to describe. Sad that there is only one location. Prices are fair as well and the gentleman who works the drive-thru always makes sure I have everything I need and then some. Great place!!

I ordered a Wet Chili Verde Burrito combo to go for under $15 and was amazed at how much wonderful food they crammed into the to-go box! . It weighed probably over 3 pounds.
The staff was friendly and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all for not speaking Spanish.
The taste was awesome as it was, but there is a do it yourself bar where you get to select and add in whatever sauces of varying spice levels you’d like. There are peppers & veggies and limes available too.
Located just a few feet from the train station, and less than a 1/4 mile from the freeway, this is a very accessible location to visit. I would certainly stop in again if I ever return to the area.

Every place has it’s upsides, and downsides. I would say this is a hole in the wall. I can’t speak for the whole menu, but the steak breakfast burrito is incredible. It feeds two, or someone who is extremely hungry. Let the burrito sit on the pack for 5 minutes before you open it. The cheese needs to time melt. They don’t microwave it. It tastes real, and they use real cheese, so the patience is worth it. They are also kind people. The drive through is good in the morning. I can’t speak for any other time. It may not be the nicest place, but sometimes, that isn’t what people need in a quick morning grab time, because the steak breakfast burrito is about 100 times better than Mavericks quick food.

I don’t think this place gets enough credit. Their food is amazing! And with everyone’s prices going up, while portions get smaller, these guys don’t skimp. The food is always good, consistent and fresh. I got chicken and beef hard shell tacos today for the first time. The shells were amazing, crispy and fresh. I always get my dog a plain carne asada taco and the picture shown is 1/3 of the meat they put on a single taco. They don’t use the mini flimsy flour tortillas that everyone else’s uses these days. Their tamales are twice the size of everyone else, so fresh and only 2.15! Oh and their menudo is available everyday but I save it for sunday’s usually. Huge portion and delicious. And I saved the best for last… The staff are so so sweet, and just good genuine people. I would have never known about this place, if I hadn’t have moved to Midvale. Seriously my favorite place for so many reasons. Getting great service, amazing fresh food… And a drive thru… Hard to beat! And the lady that works there is so beautiful and a super sweet soul. And even when I forget to ask, she always puts my favorite in the bag… The guacamole salsa stuff!

Very delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. The staff is super kind and friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. I got the hard shell shredded beef tacos and they were delicious. It comes with bean, rice and a drink.
