I’m visiting from out of town and my sister in law just insisted we drive 40 minutes out of the way to eat tacos here. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I did chicken, corn tortillas, Mexican style and I would not change a single thing worth the drive. I am so happy.

Monday night is Burrito night at Mi Pueblo. I got mine wet with their delicious red salsa. Added a side of rice with the Mexican cheese. They serve fresh tasty food. Very pleasant associates. Highly recommended. And per the sticker at their cash register…. The number for Taco Emergency is “9 – Juan – Juan”

Excellent burritos and live music. There’s so many menu items and it’s not just a normal Mexican restaurant. They have excellent Cooks! It tastes unique, with the right amount of seasoning and the chicken and beef is juicy and not dry. The rice and beans are very savory and you’ll want to clean your plate.

I just stumbled upon this neat little place while craving mexican food on a recent trip to kalamazoo, I’m so happy I did.
Food was very authentic, I started with a side of guacamole and chips. The guacamole was fresh and slightly chunky just as I like, not some whipped green paste, as stated below I perfer mine with a little more kick but I added some of the verde salsa and magnifique! I had to try the mole, as it is difficult to find a decent mole in Michigan, I was pleasantly surprised. It was deep and rich with layers of flavor, my only complaint (minor) is it could have been a little spicer but I understand this is the midwest. I look forward to returning for their tacos which seemed to be very popular and looked delicious. This was a Tuesday afternoon and the restaurant was hopping with numerous to go orders. Thanks for a great meal at a decent price.

Best tacos in Kalamazoo, have been here dozens of times. Good people and friendly atmosphere. Recommend the veggie tacos on corn with cilantro and onion, even if you’re not vegetarian.

So good! I had the tamal dinner, and my husband had the flautas de Pollo. Everything was so great! We also tried the horchata, which was really good too! Can’t wait to cone back!
