This restaurant had rave reviews from locals. We were allowed to believe that it was a locally owned restaurant. When we got in, we noticed that they had five locations. We were excited to try the menu, thinking that it would have a signature plate. The alcohol was a little bit more expensive than normal, we normally spend $100 or more if the food looks good. My husband‘s burrito came out on a plate with just a burrito on the plate. No garnishes or anything like that. I ordered the sampler platter thinking you would give me a good overview of the food. The nachos actually had unseasoned ground Beef, a sprinkling of cheese and jalapeños. None of the meat had any real seasoning to it such as cumin garlic, anything of that nature that you would expect. The interior was more Scandinavian nature as the most of it was blue and white with Scandinavian style furniture. There was a women’s hockey tournament playing as well as a pre-recorded NASCAR event. Mexican music was playing rather loudly so it was a little confusing as far as atmosphere.

They are off to a GREAT start. Stopped by for dinner on their 1st week and was pleasantly surprised. Dishes came out fast, service was on point, and the drinks were excellent. Give them a try and enjoy!!!

Lunch rush was packed, but the staff rocked it! The food was tasted fantastic, the service was phenomenal, and it was all in all a great experience. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be going back!

Wonderful experience! We ordered the Parrillada, serves 2 people. If you’re hungry this is the place to go. We still brought home leftovers. The food was delicious, especially the Horchata. Excellent service, great atmosphere! Highly recommend, we’ll be back!

Beautiful restaurant and great addition to Cottage Grove! We’ve been visiting their food truck all summer which has been amazing, I was so excited for them to open. Service was great, so friendly and made good recommendations. Their al pastor tacos are my favorite, as well as the enchiladas and mole sauce. Great margaritas as well . Such a great addition to our neighborhood!! Will be back soon!!

So happy we have Mi Pueblo in Cottage Grove! Wife and I had dinner there and it was fantastic! The employees were extremely friendly and the food was so good, we will become fast regulars here for sure!
