The chef is very professional and extremely talented with mixed ingredients. We ordered the Pollo Asado Marroquí chicken — so tasty and delicious — and the Gambas al Ajillo shrimp, which took us to another level of flavor. The Patatas Bravas were excellent, and the Chuletas de Cordero a la Parrilla (grilled lamb chops) were very tasty and perfectly cooked.
Even the welcome plate with olive oil and bread was special. I truly enjoyed every single bite. Highly recommended — an awesome experience. Keep it up, much appreciated!
The tapas menu is truly outstanding. Every dish feels intentional and well prepared, with a clear focus on quality and balance. We tried multiple dishes and everything was packed with flavor. Nothing tastes repetitive or rushed. Each plate offers its own unique combination of textures and seasonings, and it is easy to find yourself wanting to try everything on the menu. Mi Luna really captures the spirit of tapas by encouraging guests to explore, taste, and share.
One dish that deserves special attention is the patatas bravas. The seasoning on these potatoes is remarkable. They are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, and the sauce brings a perfect mix of spice, tanginess, and richness. It is a dish that keeps you going back for more, even when you think you should save room for something else. The patatas bravas here stand out as an incredible dish in Houston.
We also enjoyed the homemade salsa along with the bread and spicy olive oil. This combination is simple but so delicious. The salsa tastes fresh and bright, and the olive oil has an addictive heat that makes you want to dip piece after piece of bread. It was a wonderful start to the meal and set the tone for everything that followed.
The variety throughout the menu is excellent. Whether you prefer seafood, chicken, beef, or vegetarian dishes, there is something to love in every category. Plates arrive at a comfortable pace, which lets you enjoy each one without feeling rushed. The meal becomes a slow, enjoyable progression of flavors that encourages conversation and connection.
The service at Mi Luna is another highlight. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They checked on us at the right moments without hovering, and their recommendations were thoughtful and accurate. The smoothness of the service added to the overall comfort of the evening.
The drink menu is also impressive. The cocktails are fresh, balanced, and fun, and the sangria is a great choice if you want something refreshing to pair with the tapas. Every drink we tried complemented the food perfectly and added to the festive feel of the restaurant.
Mi Luna is a place that keeps you wanting to return. It is perfect for date nights, celebrations, or simply a memorable meal with people you enjoy spending time with. The combination of great food, warm ambiance, and consistently excellent service makes it a standout in Houston. If you are looking for a flavorful and enjoyable dining experience, Mi Luna is absolutely worth visiting.
