”We had a fantastic meal here! The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was great. My wife was particularly impressed with the flautas—they were perfectly golden and had that satisfying crunch she was looking for.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The food is incredibly authentic and bursting with flavor.

Parking is easy and inside is very spacious. Also, they have a DJ every Tuesday and it is a great add on to the wonderful atmosphere!

I’ve ordered from different Mexican restaurants but this one disappointed me. I ordered the nachos with asada and everything on it. Chips were stale. Meat had no flavor and The guacamole was turning brown. It was heartbreaking. It was like they gave me someone else’s order that sat around. Worse nachos ever. Btw I ordered thru DoorDash and had no issues with delivery.

Overall the food was great. The server was very attentive especially for being the only one working the floor. One thing I did not appreciate was the server deceiving us by offering if we wanted guacamole as soon as we sat down. Since it was offered, we agreed. She brought two molcajetes of guacamole and $26 was added to our bill for the charge of both molcajetes. The server also took it upon herself to over charge our card $38 without our consent. $38 that was not part of our bill. This woman is deceiving and I’m sure we’re not the first she has done this to. Luckily we had checked our bank app before leaving and took back the $40 tip we had left. I will not be returning. Be cautious.

I had the shrimp fajitas. Pretty well seasoned meat and bell peppers but the rice and beans were basic. The indoor and (temporary) outdoor seating areas are nice, but the car traffic may annoy some.

I ordered their large bowl of Pozole. It came with 2 tostadas and plenty of all the various toppings on the side. The Pozole was a decent size, and it was delicious. It was perfectly balanced and not too greasy. The authentic flavor of a pozole was definitely there.
I also got to try their Chilaquiles Verdes plate with Carne Asada. The beans and the chilaquiles were decent. The egg was fluffy and the sauce complimented everything so well. The cheese and cream topped it off. The carne asada was well seasoned and had good texture. The rice had great flavor and was fluffy.
Overall, a great place to have good Mexican food, specially if you’re looking for a good caldo.

Tried Mi Gusto Es for the first time yesterday, July 4. Awesome food, all of it! Mole Poblano, Chile Verde & Camarones Gilroy. Delicious! Folks there are friendly and helpful. Great restaurant. I wish them all the luck and success going forward!!
