I don’t even know how to describe this place. It’s a nice place, looks new. I would have thought it was busy but just a lot of cars. They asked if we would mind sitting next to a party which would have been fine but it was a bunch of moms with like three kids each not kids buts babies under 5. We couldn’t even talk to each other. The food was ‘ok’. Came out fast ate fast just so we could leave. I didn’t even know who was waiting on us till the end when she brought the bill and hovered for a tip. Very disappointing!

I’ve been to this location a couple of times with my Theater Club and we always have such a lovely experience! It’s a clean establishment with friendly employees and an excellent drink and food menu!
Antonio took the sweetest care of us and his recommendations were spot on! I ordered the Quesabirria Tacos, which were delicious and filling! Thanks Antonio, we’ll see you next time!

This new build has been open for a minute, and for our first time finally visiting we had a great experience. Dante was our server-welcomimg, attentive, courteous. Other staff checked on us as well. The food was ordered exactly as we requested, fresh and hot. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive. Very clean. We enjoyed our experience!

We stopped to have dinner before doing some errands. Tom had a Chicken Chimi and I had the Mexican Pizza. We both enjoyed our meals; our food choices are some of our favorites here at Mi Casita. We both have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow.

We went with 30 people on a short notice and they did the best they could; they arranged well for the time! I’m writing this review based on the opinion of everyone that dined with me. They were quick on orders, and the staff were hospitable. However, a few people commented that the food was not as authentic, but it wasn’t bad either, it was decent.

I was impressed by their new building with a very efficient drive thru service.
The chicken soup is one of my favorites, especially if you have a cold.
As always everyone is very friendly and accommodating.

Wanted to try new location but probably one of the worst Mexican restaurants. When trying to sit me and my brother down we noticed it looked empty with only a few (white) costumers and I’m pointing it out only because as they walked us all the way back of the restaurant where is was more busy but I only saw hispanic and black people, they tried to bunch us up next to a party. I asked to be seated in the main lobby because we are paying the same $ and this was done on purpose. We saw white costumers come in and they were sat at the front and all hispanic and black customers were sat at the back in a tight setting. Disgusting how the owners forget who were the ones supporting their business in the beginning. I have never had it happen before but it was very noticeable. Then I ordered a chorri pollo and ask for it to have more chorizo de pollo and they brought nothing but chicken on my plate I sent it back and it was not worth the wait at all. I guess this happens when we try to support other Mexicans that forget their roots….

So I want to start off saying that my family goes to the mikasitas down the street.Every single sunday and they have been for about 10 years. This particular sunday, we wanted to see what the new restaurant was like. To give you the short version of everything that happened. The food was mediocre. Anything that we got tasted like it came out of a bag or from the faucet… we also had kids with us; the ten year old said the salsa tasted like dish detergent.. also that night my daughter, who was eating said salsa, was terribly sick.. maybe it’s because they just opened. And they need a little more time to find their rhythm..

Las Palmas Mexican restaurant in Raeford NC on Harris avenue has the BEST poblanos! 100 times better than Mi Casitas. Micasita uses only HALF of a poblano with cheese or some sort of meat underneath it AND its half crunchy. Las Palmas poblanos are soooo soft that you practically dont even have to chew it. They use soft Mexican cheese filled in the middle, dipped in batter, fried…extremely soft and the flavor is a whole lot better!!! The best poblanos I have ever eaten. And they use a WHOLE poblano compared to MiCasita’s partial. They are $5 each after taxes. Their side of rice is $2.50 but a side of MiCasitas rice is $3.69. Eat better and save money at the same time. Mi Casita no longer sells tamales!! However, Las Palmas in Raeford does. They are $3 a piece. However, if you get 3, all three will cost $7. You save $2. Their food is to die for and almost half the prices of Mi Casita. You’re Welcome!! PS, Las Palmas churros are also better…WAAAY better! Much cheaper if you dont get the ice cream that goes with it. Just say you only want the churro, not the ice cream. Go there, you won’t regret it!! They use chocolate syrup on them. I always ask for the cinnamon sugar instead.
