Our family of five visited this restaurant and had an outstanding Mediterranean lunch in Short Pump, VA. We had Falafel bowls and a falafel pita sandwich. The portions were big, vegetables very very fresh, the falafel and Pita bread were piping hot and made fresh in front of your eyes and the toppings very many and delicious!! To top it all, the service was very friendly and professional. A definite go to place when next in the area. They had plenty of indoor/outdoor seating with a very vibrant decor. Lots of parking around.

Ordered and paid for the mezeh spread catering for pick up at 2pm…it wasn’t ready by 2:25pm. I asked how long it would take and they said 30-40 mins. Our party started at 2:30pm. I asked them to refund me and they told me to get the refund online. I asked to refund in store but they refused. They called management and then said it would take 10 mins to fulfill the order. I reminded them they just told me it would take 30-40mins? One of the ladies yelled at me to, “Go, just go!”.

Food is best as always, Atmosphere is good as well. The Service could have been better. We walked in to order at 9:30 PM and we were asked to vacate the restaurant by 10 PM. Because it was a thankgiving eve, we complied. But, guess what… the restaurant remained open well beyong 10 PM.

I feel that the meat portion is not accurate. They should get a measuring cup to dish out the 4 oz. It truly depends on the server and if they want to give you the full spoon. Yet and still, the food is hands down GOOD!!!!

I placed a catering order on 12/1 for pick up on 12/11. I realized on 12/5 that I never received a receipt or confirmation email. My card was charged on the 1st so I called to request a receipt emailed to me. The woman I spoke with told me to hold on while she got her manager but hung up on me instead. I called back and she told me the receipt was in my email so I reiterated it was not, requested it be provided again, she then told me her manager was not there and I would need to call back later to see if they were there. I asked when the manager would return because it was unacceptable to have to call back guessing and hoping to speak to someone over something so simple. She then told me to hold on again and proceeded to hang up on me, again. I then called back and after a few rings got a busy signal. This happened twice.
I still have a $400+ charge with no receipt and now I have no answer on the phone.

This Mezeh location does not hold the same standards as other Mezeh restaurants. The portions are surprisingly small for the price. They also did not follow customized ingredient requests correctly. It’s hard to believe a $25 bowl was worth it.
